The first thing Digi found himself able to do was twiddle his claws. He quietly groaned as he recovered movement and untucked himself; crawling out from his kart slowly. He opened his eyes as much as he could and stumbled onto his feet. He felt sore all over; like he could collapse at any given moment. A pained smile grew on his face as the blurred fireworks in the distance became clear. Hobbling as he moved ,He turned and observed the damage to his kart. Just like him a few bumps and scratches with a small power leak; Nothing he or Felix couldn`t fix later. As his mind and vision became less clouded sound returned to the world. There was cries of anger and disbelief from nearby above him. Digi slowly looked up, One eye managing to open fully. The dragon themed racer was kneeling on his karts bonnet, reaching for the sky screaming as the last streak of silver faded. Blood ran down Dravix`s face, It’s what he deserved for driving a kart without an airbag! Digi wanted to smile but was hit by a sharp pain on his first attempt. His second attempt only allowed for a small curve in his lips. ”I couldn`t let you beat me, Now your nothing but a… Clone!”He spoke in choppy words as pain pulsed through his body. Dravix Turned frantically to face Digi. His Iris`s had turned sharp, like the eyes of a cat. He breathed heavily like a wild beast; No longer was there any trace of human or hero about him. Dravix jumped down hastily ,Grabbing Digi by collar of his shirt. Digi shouted as the back of his shirt was pulled into a few cuts in his back. Dravix flew up high to an impressive altitude. As air pressure mounted, It quickly started to get difficult to breath. Digi felt his lungs getting agonisingly tight. In an desperate attempt to escape Digi activated the light blades from his bracers and lashed out at his attacker. After flailing for a while Digi managed to grab hold of Dravix`s arms and used his second attack; a plasma shockwave; to electrocute Dravix. The attacker stayed paralyzed for only a few moments before thrusting Digi down into the ground with tremendous force. Digi felt the hard ground collide with his back, He screamed in agony as his bones made a cracking noise! If it wasn`t for Digi-heroes having stronger bones he was sure his back would have been shattered on impact. Digi slowly opened his eyes as he tried to get up and groan; He found himself unable to do either. Digi had been winded from the fall and for a short while, His body was in lock down. He couldn`t dodge as Dravix brought himself down with a flying downwards kick to Digi`s chest. The digital hero coughed up blood . Dravix didn`t stop there; he then began to brutally attack the digital hero using his wings and claws to beat and cut the motionless racer. All attention was off the race. After hearing Dravix`s roar a crowd had gathered to break up the fight. They were quickly making their way to the crash site and now most could see the gory assault which caused them to pick up the pace. Knowing everyone’s intentions, Dravix threw something down. From the ground hexagonal shapes formed between the fight and the crowd. The wall formed a partially transparent dome around the scene. The crowd separated around the shield and began to hit it with all their might in a final gambit to break through and save Digi; Especially with how he just sacrificed his win!. Dravix stopped his attacks and looked down at Digi. Blood was draining from the digital hero`s mouth and his eyes were only managing to stay slightly open; He was going no where quick. With a laugh Dravix looked around at the wasteful attempt of the racers. “Hmp Pathetic” He insulted with a growl in his voice, “Now you will all see what happens if you deny Lord Sugar-Slack`s oncoming rule.”He turned to look at the Digi Heroes, “Your little friend here never stood a chance !” He laughed as he stamped Digi`s face into the earth lightly; He added pressure as he continued. Sparkz shuffled backwards; Turning around she walked away from the commotion. “Sugar-Slack and I were destine to abolish your Vanellope`s reign! He`s here you know! In Sugar-Rush!”. A gasp rose above the crowd as they gave up trying to break through. Dravix continued to blab on, ”He will never be caught by you low lives! We are here to stay! You all better give up”. Ridder knocked heavily catching Dravix`s attention. Her and Alice stepped forward. They seemed to share a short lived smirk, “I think you`ll find that your wrong” Ridder laughed. Dravix`s face didn`t change much; It was still painted with rage. Alice opened her note book and read from it,“ Prisoner Sugar-Slack, Found breaking rule of banishment, Put up a fight but was easily detained. Sentence; Fungeon”. She closed her notebook with a soft slam and slipped it back in her pocket. Hearing all of that, a question rang in Digi`s head, `Wait…. Did she write her notes…. While racing?!?!` However Digi didn`t have long to think as Dravix increased the pressure of his foot even more. Digi could feel the pressure on his skull and screamed as his vision started to spin and blur. Upon hearing this Dravix was outraged; Like a toddler he threw a tantrum at his failure and did what any toddler would do in his situation, Blame the weakest. “This is all your fault!” He spat at Digi. Planning to avenge his masters now ruined plan, he lifted his foot for a final blow. Digi sighed to himself… `Well at least we showed him what heroes can do` he managed to frown. It looked like it was over. Digi had never stood a chance… Maybe he was… Inferior? A scream shot from outside the shield as the drone of an engine drew closer, “GET OUTTER MY WAY, HERO COMING THROUGH!”. A section of the crowd turned and quickly fled in two directions as headlights came speeding closer. A lightning themed kart smashed through the shield and would of hit Dravix had he not jumped to avoid it. The shield cracked like glass as it fell apart. Sparkz Jumped out and reached out a hand to Digi. “Come on!” She impatiently ordered, “This offer ain`t staying forever! Just while we have a neutral enemy.” She acted bitter towards him but smiled when he took her hand, allowing her to pull him up. As Digi got upright he began to wobble. Sparkz thrust a fist into Digi`s back; Clipping his dislocated spine back into place. Now able to recover, his vision quickly cleared .He nodded at Sparkz; receiving a nod in retaliation; and turned to Dravix with his fists clenched tightly. The dragon-themed racer struggled to get up from his leap. Sparkz`s kart had manage to hit Dravix, Off-balancing him and causing him to crash land. “You will….” He Roared as he got to his feet, Blood staining his skin, “…PAY FOR THAT!”. He flapped his wings and made a Dash for Sparkz. Dravix swung out his metallic wing. It collided with a sword of light from Digi`s bracers. “You can keep trying Dravix… Or you can give up now” Digi growled as he tried to keep up his strength, The two were evenly matched in power. Dravix gave a smile which gave Digi an unpleasant chill down his spine, ”Did you really know Sugar-Slack that badly that would keep his apprentice close to you?”.Digi snapped rage clearly present in his voice. ”Quit talking and accept it Dravix! You lost! Now just come quietly with no funny business” He ordered. To everyone’s surprise Dravix suddenly let loose a huge wave of power that he had been storing, throwing Digi of guard. Dravix forcefully pushed Digi, turning him around to face away from Dravix. Then grabbing the hero with his wings in a tight bind, Dravix brought out Sugar-Slacks knife from his back pocket and pointed it into Digi`s back; He kept it at the distance so the crowd could clearly see the danger. “If you really knew him well… then you would know Funny business is our thing!”,He crackled. Sparkz hesitated to help but as she moved so did the knife, into Digi`s back.He cried out as the metal began to pierce his skin. “Don`t even think about it or I`ll make it painful for him” Dravix deterred everyone. Now holding the advantage; Dravix was in charge. No one dared to move. As Dravix droned to the crowd about some random evil stuff he had planned, Digi looked around with awe… Could everyone is staying still because of fear … Or because of him? It took a while for Dravix to stop his long and boring speech. Straight after Dravix shut up Gloyd shouted out in desperation, “We listened to you ok! Now let my brother go like you promised!”. “As you wish” Dravix nodded; doing the complete opposite. The knife dug deep and went through Digi`s chest. His eyes widened as darkness overcame him and blood came gushing from the wound. “I never promised that you foolish boy, He didn`t even deserve to live anyway! I`ve done you all a favour” He sneered, looking around and releasing his grip. Everyone was frozen in fear as Digi stumbled around gasping for air.He wobbled and stumbled as his sight grew ever darker and death became clearer and clearer. Eventually Digi`s body could not cope anymore; with one final look at the crowd Digi`s met with Bubbles; Like everyone else Shock and upset was written on her face. He whispered as he fell,” Sorry”. Knowing it was too late now people began to regain movement as Dravix repeatedly stabbed into Digi`s body. Each swipe causing more bloodshed. Sparkz grew ever closer as she ran to stop Dravix however with one final kick ;Turning Digi onto his back; Dravix lunged himself into the sky and flew away, Laughing maniacally. Everyone crowded around Digi`s body as the last of his power fizzled out. Small bolts of electricity travelled though the pool of blood he know lied in. Digi painfully opened his eyes and brought up his arm to stroke Bubbles cheek. She and some others had kneeled nearby, soaking their knees in the blood without care. “Hey now…” He softly whispered to his girlfriend,” just because I’m bleeding doesn`t mean that I’m going to die.. You know that right…. But in the case I want you to be strong for me, I`ll be save, yeah?”His voice was shaking and Glitching as his body began to de-pixalate.
