Digi was dazed for a few moments but that didn`t mean he couldn`t hear the sour-sounding laugh that echoed in his ears. That laugh? Digi knew he had heard it before. He felt anger rise within him but wasn`t sure why. “If it isn’t the thief! “The voice spoke bitterly. Still in a daze, Digi struggled to fix his words into one sentence, “I’m noth a thief, I aint done nuthin”. The attacker seemed amused by Digi`s remark, chuckling before delivering his reply; “How about my throne! Don`t you remember stealing that!” This reaction confused Digi. A throne? Digi had never been on throne…. Except… Digi grinned as he got up and stood strong in the way of his attacker, “Sugar-Slack…. How you been? No wait… I don`t care!” He taunted childishly. Sugar-Slack growled, “How dare you!”. Light reflected off a small slice of metal by Sugar-Slacks. This caused Digi to take a step back and take a defensive position. If that was what Digi thought it was ,he did not want to be on the sharp receiving end! There was a light growl from further back in the ally and the metal quickly hid back in Sugar-Slacks jacket. Digi went back to normal stance; “So how did you get here?” He asked; Not allowing Sugar-Slack to say anything, he continued “I mean, Your banned from Sugar Rush, You shouldn`t of even been able to get here via boat or plane. Well I guess it won’t matter since you can`t show your face in public.” Sugar-Slack growled angrily once more. “You racing tonight?” The sour racer scowled. Digi`s face went blank for a moment, Was this Guy even listening to him! “Well yeah, unlike someone…who can`t!” He grinned as he kept up the taunts. The grin was quickly wiped from his face however as a faint laughing similar to his own came from behind Sugar-Slack. Digi leaned to look over the Sour racers shoulder and found himself looking into a pair of crimson eyes. He quickly turned back to Sugar Slack, Anger printed on his face. “Ohhhh No, I won’t allow you to clone me or some other weird sciency quradraloopy thingymabob.” Digi retaliated pushing Sugar-Slack out of the way. The figure in the shadows laughed, staying frozen in place where the shadows hid him for a moment. Slowly it came forward, speaking as it approached “You think me as a clone? Look at yourself! You’re not even worth being called a faker of me! Your nothing but incomplete!”. Digi lifted an eyebrow; how was it that the voice sounded almost exactly like his own; just at a lower pitch? Walking into the crack of light that shone down between the buildings, the figure came into sight. He was the same height as Digi, had similar clothes to what Digi originally had and had the same red eyes. But whoever this was they had a whole different colour scheme and hairstyle. Digi wasn`t intimidated; He wasn`t going to let some cheap re-colour beat him. He planned to end this quickly with a good old strike from his claws when from the lurking shadows, he saw something that made him rethink. Two wings; one organic and one metallic ,stretching into the sky before folding down behind this new guy. Sugar-Slack took a step forward and chuckled, “Digi… Meet my free ticket into Sugar Rush, Dravix Wyvern, but you can just call him your demise!” The two chuckled. Digi didn`t know how to react to this so just growled as anger took over as. Finally he could hold his rage down no longer and ran for the Dragon themed racer. His attempt to strike however was futile as all it took was a quick swipe of the metallic wing to send him backwards and into the dusty concrete floor. Dravix laughed and turned, “Hmp, Pathetic” He insulted, “I was hoping you would be more of a challenge, I look forward to defeating you in tonight`s race”. Sugar-Slack sneered “And I can`t wait to witness that defeat. Finally I`ll get the revenge I require!”. Digi held himself up on all fours and upon looking up, watched as the two dissolved with the shadows. Digi took a few moments of deep breathing; The blow he had taken from Dravix`s wing has left him with an aching pain in his chest but eventually he pulled himself to his feet, brushed off the dust and continued home as if nothing had happened. A sickening feeling of worry in his stomach.
