Digi had to run to avoid being dragged, Vanellope may not look that strong but she has one heck of a grip. They turned left or right at almost every intersection of halls; The Castle was becoming like a maze and Digi was starting to think they were lost. Of course they weren`t ; Vanellope knew her own castle well and before too long, they had stopped in front of a set of doors. She pushed them open, so had to let go of the Digi hero and walked in. Digi slowly followed, He looked around with awe. There were books as far as the eye could see; stacks and stacks of them neatly placed, this must be the royal library. Digi`s gaze was caught by Vanellope waving, “Oh Didg! It’s over here. Hurry up. You gotta see this!” She spoke as she sat on a cushioned seat in front of the table; which stood in the centre of the room. Digi jogged to the table and sat down next to her. “Never thought you were one for reading~” Digi chuckled. “Not me… MotorBrain`s a bit of a book worm though” She replied as she placed her hand on a well presented book, “This is the Omnomicon of legend past, This should hold the answers to your questions”. “Like how to get people to like me?” Digi cheekily asked. Vanellope gave him a blank face, not appreciating the joke. Quickly Digi felt awkward as he scratched his back. Vanellope looked back down as she opened the book; which strangely seemed brand new; and flicked through the pages. Digi took this time to look around but was brought back by her slamming her hand down on the page, “Ah ha!” . Digi`s attention reverted back to the book, The page was well decorated with a dreamy light blue-purple design. The words on the page were strange… Not even readable in Digi`s opinion. Obviously unless your Vanellope, as she read it out aloud using her finger to keep track of where she was, “The interstellar meteor shower is a strange in game phenomenon that occurs once every centaury, It is said racers who win a race during the shower are said to have good luck in the future” She began closing the book while Digi’s eyes were fixated on it, Suddenly he could swear he saw someone he knew; he lifted his hands and in a reverse of order, told Vanellope to stop and go back. She could tell he was onto something so quickly scrolled back, going past it. Digi rolled his eyes, “Too far.. Go forward slowly”. She turned a page every few seconds until they landed on a royally designed page. Digi`s eyes widened, In the corner of the page in a large black and white photo was the Digi-Hero King and queen, along with a little girl who looked exactly like…. Sparkz?!?!?! Vanellope was gobsmacked. She had looked at this book a few times but never stopped on this page! Digi grew very impatient very quickly, “Go on! Read it then”. Vanellope did so, again using her finger as an indicator. “Some of these words I can`t translate” She frowned, “But what it basically says is that The Digi Heroes used to have a royal family. But the Daughter was reported missing a month before the unplug… You don`t think?”She looked up, the hero was nodding with interest. “Sparkz is that princess, it would explain her unexplained rivalry with Jewel Gold crest” He confirmed. Vanellope watched the hero for a few moments, unsure what to say; Then changing the subject, “So you gonna race tonight or what?” She smiled. Digi shook his head frantically, “I would love to but everyone will be there… They`ll be angry at me”. Vanellope momentarily frowned at this before another idea hatched, “Oh really” She sarcastically whispered, “I guess that means Crona was right when he said you were to chicken”. Digi growled and then rolled his eyes,” Oh he said that did him…”. Vanellope taunted him, making chicken noises. Digi growled again and slammed his fist down, “Im not chicken! Sign me up!” He angrily ordered. Vanellope kept her cool “You’re the last registered of the 12 racers, There was a space open especially for you” She grinned. Digi felt honoured to be treated so well, He tightly hugged her and she struggled to break free. Digi ran for the door, “Thanks” He called, “I gotta go get ready for tonight!”. Vanellope stopped him, “ Listen about the whole Sparkz thing… I think its best we keep quiet about it for now; you know, since we aren`t 100% sure yet so don`t tell anyone!”. Digi nodded and ran into the hall. He looked to his left and right and then turned back to the library. Walking back to the table, Vanellope looked up. “That didn`t take long” She giggled. Digi sighed, “Could you show me the way out…. I get sort of lost in the halls…”. Vanellope got up from her seat with another laugh. ”Of course”
