Digi ran to his kart with Tekz pouncing from spot to spot besides him. He had heard from Boiler that there was a small crowd surrounding Digi`s kart! As Digi arrived on scene he saw Sugar-slack lowering a cutting device towards the circuit breakers engine! He was laughing and so was his siblings, “Lets see him race with no engine” Sour-skitz hissed. The cutter came closer and closer and almost began making the horrific screeching noise that they do when they begin slicing metal. It would of, Had a burning ball of plasma struck Sugar-slacks hand, forcing him to drop it. The cutters buzz faded as the blade stopped and it impacted the floor. The three turned and stared at the racer with disgust. Looking at mellow-creamsy Digi realised her hand in a bandage from the knife. Honestly he felt a little sorry and would of said so if she wasn`t glaring at him as if it was his fault! “Leave my kart alone you cheats!”Digi screamed as Tekz jumped forward and growled. The sisters stepped back. They were just as afraid of Tekz as Lico was! But still Sugar-slack just stood there and laughed. He punched the circuit breaker then kicked in one of the front wheel spokes. Tekz jumped forward and dug her fangs into Sugar-slacks leg. She growled at him, “Leave Digi`s kart alone or it wont just be a bite next time!”.Sugar-slack looked at Tekz with surprise and replied, “Ah so you can talk! Well both of you listen up…”.The sisters looked at each other, as far as they knew Tekz couldn`t speak and this made their brother seem to be going insane!”… If you somehow do race, I will beat you and this kingdom will be mine!”. He signalled his sisters with his hand and they began walking away, going past Digi. As the sisters past they hissed into Digi’s ear “Liquoresh!”. Sugar-Slack passed stating the same before elbowing Digi in the back, sending him to the floor. They walked off laughing and that really annoyed Digi. He got up when the cost was clear and observed his kart. They had damaged it but not severely. `I could still fix it himself` He thought as he reached in the back of his kart and pulled out a tool kit, thank god they hadn`t found it. The race was in an hour and doubt ran through Digi`s mind whether he could get his kart fixed in time. As luck would have it, at that moment Digi found that some of the other male heroes were stood there watching him and on being seen they offered a hand. Boiler worked on the engine, making it more what he called `Nitro charged`, DJ fixed up the wheels and Frost helped replace the glass that had been broken. Digi spent his part working on the electrics of his kart, It was his specialty after all! The kart was finally back in racing conditions but there was only a few minutes till the final race now! Digi waved his pals a friendly goodbye before driving off to the start line. The final race was being held on Bubble`s circuit so Digi was pretty confident with the format of the road and with his new improved kart that his friends had helped him to create… There was no way he would even think about losing!
