Tyler took a deep breath as he walked into the Dravix city gym. He had come for the next badge and there was no way he was turning back at the start. He entered a small lobby before passing through another set of doors which to the sides of where stairs, preferably for the audience! He wasn`t expecting a big audience, Just his cousin and companion but then again he had been in town for a week now. Maybe rumour had spread of his will to battle, he didn`t know. The doors closed behind him leaving him in brief darkness. A male voice calmly echoed, “And you are?” it asked. Tyler swallowed as he gathered courage! “My name is Tyler and I`m here to challenge the Gym Leader” He shouted. There was an amused laugh before a loud clang as lights turned on. Six to be exact all of them focused on a slab of metal plating. In them was a reflection of Tyler each from different angles. “Ah yes I`ve been expecting you” There was a sound of metal scraping as the voice spoke. Then the reflections changed to another trainer, sword drawn in his right hand. This trainer was wearing parts of armour over him the reflected the light shone on the metal plates. A Spotlight opened up over the podium where the gym leader stood and there he was. He got out of his pose, sheaving his sword back into the case around his waist as he firmly spoke, “Well then challenger. I, Blade accept your challenge!” As he spoke though words the room was flooded with over head light and it the room became more noticeable. The room was made out plated metal with a usual dirt battle field. Raised above the field was the audiences stands and boy… they were packed with screaming fans! The referee took his place on the side of the field and began, “The gym battle is about to get underway. The battle will be a two on two, single battle ! The challenger is allowed to make substitutions at any time but the leader cannot! The battle keeps going until both Pokémon on one team are defeated! Battle Begin!”
“Absol! Battle stations” Tyler cried sending out his trusty partner. “ Steelix, Shine into glory!” Blade sent out his first. The first move went to Tyler who was instructed to attack with shadow claw. Steelix ,being the goliath it is was unable to dodge but had a high defence so took a while to beat. Eventually With one final quick attack the giant metal snake fell to the floor. “Steelix is unable to battle! The First point goes to The challenger!” The ref announced as the crowds cheered. Absol seemed pretty tired so Tyler called him back and swapped him with axew. Just as axew stepped foot on the cool soft dirt it began to shake. Tyler looked over at his opponent who seemed to be just as surprised! From the soil a Dark blue fin emerged and came towards the tusk Pokémon. Axew leaped into the air as the familiar land shark Pokémon emerged, snapping its jaws shut! Gible?! The Gible from before! Although confused Blade managed to splutter out a few words “ What is the meaning of this?”, Tyler replied explaining everything. How he had accidently grabbed onto its fin while falling and how it had previously attacked them. Tyler looked into the gabite`s icy stare and saw potential. He proposed to capture it and Blade allowed so to happen, It would seem the crowd was in for a treat! A wild and gym battle in one! Tyler smiled as he ducked his head down and commanded his axew. “Dragon rage!”
Axew began channelling its spirit while the Gible opened its mouth wide and charged up a different move! Tyler recognized it in two ways, It was the move that had done extensive damage to Lee Anne`s Drantini, Diamond and , Now it didn`t have a Pokémon in its mouth, The move was the ultimate dragon move, Draco meteor! He had heard about this move while Iris was training him to use axew, If it hit it would be game over! Quickly Tyler changed tactics instructing axew to launch himself into the air using the charged move before using dig directly on Gible. Axew did as said and landed on Gible`s head, Forcing its mouth closed. Then it used Draco meteor which backfired in its own mouth. Gible got back up and dug into the earth. “Axew follow it” Tyler shouted as Axew also descended. The two furiously fought underground and created many surface holes in the field. After a while axew emerged scratched an in a lot of pain. Gible kept appearing and vanishing as if it was a whack-a-mole game, all Tyler needed was a mallet! “Axew use Dragon rage into the nearby hole! “And with that a blue flame busted out through ever other hole on the battle field leaving Gible nowhere to go. It flew into the sky and as it did Tyler activated the final tactic! “Capture on!” He shouted as he threw a poke ball which miraculously hit it in mid air. The poke ball landed and began to shake.

Clunk! Gible was Caught!
The poke ball came back to Tyler automatically, Something to do with the magnetism in the room! Tyler caught it swinging his arm horizontally! “Well you wanna continue now that’s out of the way? He shouted over to Blade who nodded and sent out his next Pokémon! Axew was exhausted so Tyler swapped to his last full-health Pokémon, His Zorua! So the final battle was Zorua vs Bronzor. Having the type advantage meant that Zorua pulled through, Using its many dark attacks to wither away the opponents life points, eventually fainting Bronzor. “And with a flawless victory the Challanger has won!” The crowd erupted into cheering as Blade approached Tyler; At one occasion almost falling down one of Gibles trenches which was quite funny. He held out the badge and Tyler picked it up, Blade nodded his head and then span around, He posed, “Not only did we catch a Gible but I also got the reflect badge!” He shouted happily~
