Description It was almost completely silent; the only noise was the continuously steady beeping of the heart monitor as it counted each best of its victims heart. The room was a pristine white, decorated by medical equipment and a sofa to the edge of the room. The virgin cushions lay untouched as did most of the furniture that his the serious nature of the recovery room. It has been this way since he has first arrived. Ever since he had no visitors other than police inquiring on his status but even then they had warily stayed clear of the room. For now he remained in place, his chest rising and falling in rhythm with each choking breath he took.All other signs were blank at first,normal as it has the day and months before however out of nowhere he began to growl.
It started off as a snarl, a few whispers and tiny hesitations as his body swung back to life.  Sweat began clump his due together as he here more agitated, still stuck in a sleep like state. His motions quickly escalated; before you long he was thrashing about, yelling and barking out of control.
Medics rushed into the room and tried to hold him steady, only to be thrown aside by brute force as he twisted and turned. Outside, the phone call was being made. Those who were still standing rushed to the aid of their dazed co-workers and quickly evacuated; locking the door to the room with aim of preventing escape.
The canine patient barked furiously as his body spasmed spontaneously. He slammed his paws down, murmuring words with a difficult to read slur. From outside and through the now racing sharp bleeps no one could make out any of it.
He tossed his head from side to side, finally managing to make comprehensible speech, being barely hear-able over the monitor. "Get... Away...From..."
His eyes flung open wide as he finished. "...ME!". His body shot upright as he grabbed his racing heart; gasping deep breaths as if he has just received a fright. He looked blankly to the wall for a few moments until his body, weakened and limp, brought him slowly back to the bed. He closed his eyes in relief as he fell.Staring at the ceiling can for a few moments have him time to readjust his accelerated breathing, relax and come to terms with his surroundings. He turned over,facing away from the door and took a look at the flowers which laid by his bedside. It was their fragrance that he had been noticing, he was sure of it; the small that he had honed his dances on to relax. He stared for a few moments and held his head. Why did the smell seem so familiar? And why did the thought bring him so much pain? Eventually be gave up and began to close his eyes, trying to drift off into sleep, hoping this time it's be peaceful.
What felt like seconds later, a gentle sound of knocking on wood struck him from his doze.
