Just as Gregg Berger reprised Grimlock, he will aso reprise Jetfire, who was called Skyfire in the animated series for trademarking reasons, he was called Jetfire in the toys. Jetfire is based on his Classics toy. Here he was once an old friend of Optimus Prime before becoming an Autobt. They idolized them until the attack on their home of Tyger Pax. Believing his old friend was killed, Jetfire journied throughout space, thinking he had no reason to "function". He gets frozen in ice and is found drifitng is space, by Starscream. Convincing that the Autobots are to blame for his friends loss, Jetfire aided the 'Cons until realizing his old friend is now leader of the Autobots, thus Jetfire joined them, still conflicted about what he done. In light of their old friendship, Optimus made him field commander to help get over his past. Sonce then, he has aided Prime and the others from the air.

Tyger Pax is the name of one of Cybertron's cities. I choose that specifically to be Prime's hometown because of the same word.
