𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒:

𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘:

Hen, despite doing her best to avoid fights, decides to help defend the Tsetse Hive, unable to stand by and watch knowing how horrific the last raid had been. She has a brief interaction with the trainee, Merlot, before the raid starts. During the raid, she overhears an argument between a raider and their victim - Seagrass and Recluse respectively. She peeks around the corner and finds the LeafWing-SeaWing taunting the other dragon, and she remains frozen as fighting breaks out between them. By the time she is able to kick herself into action, Seagrass has killed the poor HiveWing - who had been begging for him to leave the book of Clearsight her mother had transcribed. She fights him, preventing him from escaping twice before repeatedly slamming him into a wall. She snaps out of it when she hears a crack, finding that she had broken his horns among other injuries. Horrified by her actions, she rushes the drake to the hospital and is ushered out when she proves to overbearing.

𝐍𝐏𝐂𝐒:

- Recluse | A HiveWing with not-so-distant NightWing heritage. She is thought by Hen to be around Plover's age - nine or ten. She has lived in the Tsetse Hive her whole life, and in the very same house too. She has a younger sister, Opifex, who she has been taking care of for a year now after their mother passed of infection shortly after the first raid on the Tsetse Hive. She is well-loved by her community, and is a devout follower of Clearsight. She is killed by Seagrass, a raider, in the most recent raid, the whereabouts of her younger sister unknown.

- Seagrass | A LeafWing-HiveWing hybrid. He is roughly the same age as Recluse. He is regarded by even his fellow raiders as self-righteous, and has annoyed many dragons with his arrogance. Thanks to his constant talking, many of dragons know his tale - he was, supposedly, from the LeafWing Kingdom, taking care of his elderly grandmother after both his parents died at the hands of the HiveWings. He is heavily injured by Hen, in the hospital but not dead and to be kept in HiveWing custody. His injuries include a broken jaw, broken horns, possible concussion, and a bruised tail. He killed Recluse.
