Meet the Rabbit Rangers, Jasper’s personnel lab assistants and my OC team of the Road Rovers fandom.

It’s been a long time since I’ve introduced Jasper’s lab assistants from a comic, the gag experiment, a request for art, and another short comic about Epsilon meets Epsilon in years. Now I’ve finished this reference of the Rabbit Rangers with an updated look after the doodle comic I’ve uploaded today. But making the information about them wasn’t very easy so I had to improvise myself.

Maybe one day, I’ll make a fanfic out of it if I have the time in the future.

After Jasper created his own mutant army of rabbits, his seven lab assistants appeared to be resourceful when assisting him for his science projects. Long ago, they were ordinary young wild rabbits from the forest in New England, U.S.A, and had a normal life until they were taken by Cano-Mutants and transformed into Rabbit-Mutants. But unlike all Rabbit-Mutants with brutish tendencies, they seemed to be kind and friendly. But what Jasper didn’t know was they became smarter than him so they became his lab assistants and personnel retainers whenever he gets upset or angry. But due to Jasper’s ignorance and stubbornness, they improvised themselves and grew independent as they learned and adapted their skills which were impressed by both Groomer and MAS (Mutant Assassination Squad) (except Jasper though he later appreciated them). Even after their first battle with Road Rovers, they improved their martial arts and special ability when they “accidentally” ate prototypes that looked like chocolate Easter Eggs containing Chemical X that gave each one with superpowers and were ready for a rematch against the Rovers anywhere at any time and any place as the Rabbit Rangers. Luckily, unlike many mutant assassins, assassinations and killing sprees are not their things.

Alpha
Alpha is a leader of Rabbit Rangers and Jasper’s scientific protege. A fitting name for a team leader, Alpha leads to carry out the orders during missions and researching the projects, most of them were spearheaded by Jasper himself. Overconfident and reliable, Alpha is assisting his master but he has a big brain of ideas and right to be concerned about the safety of science projects they have worked on. In combat, he has the power of super speed and elemental fire power with a strong leadership and tactician of the team and a platoon of Rabbit-Mutants. He’s also a unique trickster, making him a fair rival to Hunter, leader of Road Rovers.

Beta
Beta is the second-in-command of Rabbit Rangers and a little brother of Alpha. Beta’s priority is safety as he was a bit worried about the science projects’ disastrous result which he knew when all twelve but one died in an accident. A shy rabbit with a little courage and optimism, he checks and rechecks on any weapons and vehicles before being deployed for the mission as well as checking other supplies like food, medicines, and ammunition. But aside from his shyness and worrying, he has the elemental power of water and ice using it as his defense mechanism.

Delta
Delta is the team’s vehicle and engineering expert. Delta is a junior engineer who can fix and build anything when it comes to his skill, studying the blueprints and the schematics and then constructing it with the help of lesser mutants to gather the materials he needs to complete the vehicle projects, from armored personnel carriers to tanks to aircrafts. He also personally took it for a test drive as well before being deployed. Along with his mechanical skill, he has the power of explosions who likes to blow stuff up but never kill anyone who gets in his way. He likes sports cars and racing cars as his collection, which it’s his favorite hobby.

Echo/Epsilon
Echo is the team’s weapons and close-quarter combat expert. Being a junior scientist isn’t so easy but for Echo, he’s a quick learner when he studies the weapons carefully. Testing out every weapon and gadgets they build, Echo provided the lesser mutants for their training of marksmanship and martial arts based on the books he read and movies he watched, even tutorial videos on the internet. Along with his creativity, he has the psychic power of ESP and liquid that allows him to create his own weapon and shield to defend himself. Sometimes he’s called Epsilon by Jasper, but due to the confusion between him and one of the Blitzinators named Epsilon, he chose the name of Echo.

Gamma
Gamma is a Super Rabbit Mutant and a big hugger of the team. He used to be an ordinary Rabbit-Mutant like his siblings but he wanted to be stronger like any brutish mutants and that’s what he got his wish, gaining more muscles and weights. Trained by Vladimir the Bear, he learned to be a wrestler and a hugger at the same thing which is actually quite comfortable for him. He can smash small buildings and throw some big boulders or vehicles that weigh more than 20 tonnes like toys. Though he may be a tough mutant, he has a heart of gold and a mind of a gentleman.

Zeta
Zeta is the Rabbit-Mutant cyborg of the team and a brilliant hacker. Zeta is the luckiest Rabbit-Mutant who survived Muzzle’s attack during the first encounter with Road Rovers. Before that incident, he was a brilliant technician who spent his time on a computer, analyzing the specs and encrypting the coded message before sending it to Jasper. Now revived as a half-cyborg, he has the ability to gain access to secret government facilities’ security systems, credit card numbers, bank codes, and critical information from databanks. Thanks to cybernetic enhancements, he can turn his right arm into a weapon and his retinal eye allows him to hack the scanners and keypads, and detect any hostile on sight, even behind cover, as well as disarming electronic weapons.

Omega
Omega is a professional infiltrator and thief of the team. The only female member of the team, Omega is like their sister to the boys who cared for them, even for Alpha who is a little bit over his head. Trained by Tozoku the Raccoon, she learned the fighting technique of Ninjitsu and became a ninja like him but without killing anyone but sabotage and knocking them out by putting them to sleep with headlock scissors. In addition to her skills, she has the power of camouflage with her furs making herself impossible to be detected by prying eyes and searchlights. She may be a femme fatale by many of her peers, but she is a non-lethal assassin of the team.
