So...it's been a while since I posted anything Red Vs. Blue, hasn't it? Sorry about that, it's not that I don't want to, it's just that the armor is really intimidating. I mean, look at how long it took me to get this image out. It's set during season 9 I think. On their way to find Epsilon. And yes, I know, they arrived in two warthogs, but I'm working under the assumption that they started with one...because it's funnier that way. Like my previous RvB fanarts, this is based on Luke McKay's designs for the characters...except Carolina, who actually has a face in canon.Speaking of Carolina, it's should be noted that she gives exactly zero shits about physics and the impracticality of standing in a vehicle like that as it's moving...she also apparently has a little captain in her.
I have to apologize for Tucker, though, he was missing so much in the previous seasons that I initially forgot he was there for this, so he kind of got crammed in. If I had it to o over, I'd at least move Wash to THIS side of the gun to give them both more room. 
(Tucker's one of my favs, too, so I was really kicking myself when I realized I forgot him. 
)I totally admit I rushed the backgrounds. I was getting really burnt out on this one and just fudged it. Sorry about that. At least the warthog looks better this time! (Mind, it still doesn't look GOOD...but at least it actually resembles the warthog...mechanical stuff ain't my specialty.
)All errors aside, it was fun to do, even if it did take me a while to get to it. I hope you like it too!

These were made using Luke McKay's original drawings (as seen here ) So pretty much none of them are accurate. They were just an educated guess from one artist.
I'm okay with that.

I've never seen his art. in canon of the web show. we see the back of wash head, and his hair is blonde. which pissed me off, I want to see his face. but they said they won't do it, saying it will be awkward like why they won't show the reds and blues faces saying it will be awkward. there is the art form of them, but I don't think those are canon.

I'm aware of all that.
Those drawings were made before there was any more information to go off of and were the closest thing we had to canon for a long time (as Luke McKay was the artist for the Rooster Teeth comics). I used them at the time because there was nothing else to go off of and I've continued using them for consistency's sake. Otherwise, I would have to basically constantly take down all my RvB art each time new information comes out and it's proven "wrong".
I'm not arguing that my version is "right", I was just giving you the reasons why it is the way it is. There was no other information out at the time this was made.

I suppose the best thingI can say it it's just how I saw it in my head. I felt that going from point A to point B would be a pretty long trip and that it would at the very least pass by some kind of city. (And for some reason I saw it as being that city that the freelancers fought through...I dunno
Not really the deepest answer out there, but it's all I got. Either way, it's not based on any canon so your question is just fine. I'm glad you still enjoyed it, even if it is a bit off in some ways.

After think about it for a day here is what I could think happen.(in a city area)
The reds and blues are told to stay in some location as Wash and Carolina go try and get some information from someplace (it doesn't really matter where).
Meanwhile the reds and blues end up getting in trouble with the local authority or mobsters. So Wash and Carolina end up having to get them out the problem.
However when they do Carolina gets caught on camera and everyone that knows the freelancers (specifically some bounty hunters or the UNSC its self) trys and kills them in the city.
Just the general idea.

I think I especially like the "or mobsters" part, because it fits in just fine, but my brain makes them into stereotypical 50's-era mobsters because it's RvB and everything is absurd.
You think you might do anything more with the idea?

Well if I went with just the mobsters for antagonists in the city, and kept the idea of the USNC still finding out that Carolina is alive.
Then maybe the mobsters hire the remaining members of the resistance (as according to the rvb wiki most of the members of the resistance are not confirmed dead only missing) and they go on a mission to try and kill Carolina and Washington just like what Sharkface is doing in season 13.
But other then that I can't think of much. But that is a little down the line in the fanfic. But anyway thanks for letting me bounce some ideas around, and I'll definitely think about 50s mobsters.

Hm...I like the idea! It could definitely work. That's one of the kinda great things about RvB, it's got such a broad range and there's such large swaths of time unaccounted for that you can really go as wild as you want.

I know know right, I chose after season 8 as it would give me tons of more creativity with how the Reds and Blues act and make some jokes that actually happen in season 10.
But I also made it a crossover so I could cover more stuff and open up a few more characters in the RWBY universe to the RvB characters and you know jokes and more action. Β Β

why is everyone making simons a cyborg he's human.

It's easy to forget because it happened WAY back in Season 2 and they rarely bring it up, but Simmons actually is a cyborg. Starting in this episode , and the episodes following it actually go into him getting the operation to become a cyborg, so it wasn't just a one-off gag by Sarge. They put Simmons' leftover parts into Grif!
That said, other than a couple of jokes right after the fact, and a few short call backs in the later seasons, the fact hardly ever comes up, so yeah, it's easy to forget. I wish they would use it more, though, there is the potential for some good stories with Simmons 2.0!

Well, if sticking to that painting were the goal, then sure!
While that painting did pop into my head, it was never the point or the inspiration. If it had been then all the characters would have been posed differently - closer to the painting - not just her. I put her up there like that because it was a heroic pose...in a situation where it was totally uncalled for.
That said, you're perfectly welcome to disagree with my interpretation.

Grif looks vaguely like an angry dad shouting "YOU KIDS PIPE DOWN BACK THERE OR I FUCKING SWEAR TO GOD I WILL TURN THIS CAR AROUND!"
...Then again knowing Grif, that is probably what he's shouting...
Also love how embarrassed Caboose is about grabbing Simmons' waist/crotch...
Plus Sarge looks like he's feeling a little more trigger happy than he normally does
