Description
My Second (and probably last) entry for the Rfit Colossus contest. This is for the colossus of Life.
Once it arrives through the RIft it immediatly takes root into the ground, but don't let it's immobility fool you. It has multiple vines that can burst through the ground, keeping you moving and trying to avoid damage. It's toxic gas will also cause damaging effects.
Made with penicl and markers.

I was just gonna do the same, and you are very welcome, really good work, and a lot of work went in to it, and I don't think the judges took that in to any consideration.

Wow, really really cool Life Colossus, love all the well - Life on it. I can't believe you did this with pencil and markers. What kind of markers did you use? And I think this is even extra special, since it's way harder to fix if you make a mistake, not like photoshop.

Thank you so much!
I use two types of markers,(mainly)Prismacolor and bic mark-its.
The hardest part of using markers though is controlling the bleeding. Some colors bleed alot more than others, and you have to determine how far away from your inked lines you have to color.
But I love markers anyway! It will always be my favorite meduim
I remember using photoshop at school, I felt really spoiled. XD

Wow, I had no idea about the bleeding part. You must have a lot of experience using them. Why do you think some colors bleed more then others?

I'm not exactly sure, but the colors that bleed more are usually more dark or intense than other colors. The ones I have the most problems with are forest green, hotpink, indigo blue, and plumtastic purple. They're strong colors, so I'm guessing whatever they are made with are more potent than the other gentler colors (Such as yellow, light blue, pink etc..).
It can also be the brand of markers too.
You learn alot through practice, I can't tell you how many pictures I've ruined by using the wrong color, or having a color bleed onto a characters face or cloths. lol

If I was more brave, I'd give them a try. Your pictures definitely motivates me to try another medium other than photoshop = )
