Nick laughed. "Ah, well. She's a cute kit. Between the two of you you could probably talk me into a superhero costume." Sliding his own paw around her waist, he added cheerily, "Besides, anything to impress a girl, right?"
One eyebrow went up. "You'd better be talking about me and not Rose."
By way of an answer, Nick took her chin in his free paw and turned her face toward him, giving her a quick peck. "Always."
She blushed. "I hope you realize we're not going to just kiss on a whim any time at all," she pointed out.
"Oh, I know," he grinned. "Still fun when I can get it."

Just in time for Christmas, a little something else from my friend Elimmc. It turned into a bit of an experiment in lighting and effects, and personally I'm very pleased with both of the results.
The dress, incidentally, is based on pictures of Mary Jane Watson from "Spectacular Spider-Man," as it occurred to me that Taelia has her share of qualities in common with both MJ and Gwen Stacey (which is kind of funny, because I actually patterned my development of her on some things Stan Lee did with Spider-Man himself). Also, for those wondering, Rose is Taelia's niece. You can meet her in my fic "Santa Clawed," which I am sadly not able to post here just yet. You can read it in the link, though.
