Pretty sure this is the first use I made of the Backwards Planet Judy template, and probably the idea that led me to make it in the first place. Basically my reaction to about 80% of the fan material that even has Judy in it, seems like. I'm more bugged by the stuff that turns Judy into fetish material than the romantic stuff, though when it gets to the point where it's like no one even knows that she's a cop, that's just way too much.And yes, I know I can't change it - but I can still point out how ridiculous it is.

Myself... it depends. This meme being a case in point. I'm fairly easygoing on more basic stuff (e.g. Star Trek vs. Star Wars disputes), and I even like to play Devil's Advocate, but when it's something fairly serious, I can get aggressive, you know?

Yeah, the history thing explains a lot. Also, I know what you mean. A few days ago I challenged someone to give me one command from the Bible Christians violated by voting for Trump (sorry for getting political). On a /different thread,/ he cited Solomon having a man murdered to take his wife. He said that this was bad for troop morale, and Trump is supposedly likewise, so Trump's presidency is unChristian. I rattled off five reasons why his argument was bogus (not the least of which was that he jumbled David and Solomon, both of whom God kept on the throne despite their flaws), and he just said, "Well, he's bad for troop morale, which was my point."
I'm not a fan of a lot of things Trump does myself, and I'm sure as heck not convinced he's a legitimate Christian, but if you're going to cite the Bible then for crying out loud at least get your dang facts straight.

More into ethics and theology myself. TLDR version was that he argued God's people should depose a leader over troop morale based on a totally different incident where God /didn't/ depose a leader over something that had nothing to do with troop morale in the first place.
And yeah, kind of. In fact now that you bring it up I might have to pick your brain sometime. Got a few stories in the works that should draw on military history.

I always wanted to do some reenacting. Never had a real chance, though I did write a fun scene once where a teacher taught his class about the Battle of Gettysburg by having them arrange their desks as bunkers and ditches to play it out with tennis ball "cannons" and ping-pong ball shooters. Another teacher walked in and got shot in the mouth. lol

Some friends and I were let loose a bit early from classes and we were hungry and decided to go hunt for apple pie and well McDonald's was doing a deal in my town for 3 pies for a dollar when they are usually 50 cents each and we went to the first restaurant and they were sold out completely. The second had the cherry and pumpkin, the third only pumpkin had pumpkin, and finally we made it to the last store and they had apple so we bought out all they had and spent the afternoon just reveling in our victory as we laughed and ate our spoilsΒ
