Just to clarify, this image is not my creation or property. I post it here solely for purposes of spreading it around.

That said, this picture condenses so much of what I think and believe, and what I express in discussions on hot-button issues. I feel like I could just get this on a T-shirt and wear it every day.

I have nothing against people who hold onto unbiblical or even antibiblical beliefs. I don't see how anyone who's ever seriously read "Gay Girl, Good God," "Unplanned," "Son of Hamas," or the book of Acts can do so. I want to see them all come to the Lord and go to Heaven, from my uncle - easily the kindest and most generous unbeliever I've ever met - to the terrorists ravaging the Middle East this very moment. I would gladly do anything in my power to draw any of them closer to the Maker's arms.

The one thing I cannot and will not do, though, now or ever, is to compromise the truth for their sakes. A medic cannot heal someone by telling them they are not sick or hurt. A police officer cannot help an addict by telling him he's fine. Lies about someone's spiritual condition cannot mend that condition, and even if I knew for certain someone would never mend I could never, in conscience or sanity, say that their feelings or opinion of me weighed more heavily than pleasing G-d.

In the immortal words of Martin Luther, "unless I am proven wrong by Scripture and plain reason... here I stand. I can do no other."
