Description
It’s funny what we can learn from kids. They are secluded and don’t know the world.
Yet they continue to surprise us by their knowledge.
They are able to find a way to make everything better.
To remain happy when they should not.
To laugh when they cry.
They know sadness,
They are able to feel it,
But they still move on.
Each day is a new day for them.
They may remember the past,
But they don’t dwell on it.
We have a lot to learn from children.
They show us how to live.
Do not focus on the bad,
And laugh all the way.

I like this text, but it's a bit one-sided. Children are not saints, they can be horible. We can learn from that too, but we still have to learn them things they can't reach because their emotionnaly not stable. Every litle inconveniance become a whole frustation, sometimes they looks like awfully noisy because their sadness isn't comparable to ours, every contrariety is the apocalypse... because their world is still Tiny. Even if they see no end of their universe, their world is simple. Straight, that is. More full of common sense when we should listen better to our emotions.
But Children are self centred. They live for themselves, and can be truely freely cruel. Just because they can be. And we have to learn them to live for someone else if we want that they become adult one day. Because a 40 years old men or women that only live for his or her tiny world is still a child.
I don't even speak for responsability, or even pay attention to things. You can be a really good adult being silly (even if in the present socity, you might have some problems if you are non-stop silly). As long as you have not being raised to be self centred. And a child alone won't understand that. They are not saints who are always right about everything. Sometimes, it's to us to learn them true kindness.

Learn them? I am just messing with you on that learn them thing, but I understand what you are saying. I overall love this comment. And I wont even try to defend mine. I know that part as well. We have to teach children different thing about the world around them. I was not meaning that they are saints or angels, but just saying that they can teach us things we have forgotten. Such as getting up when things get you low. Trust me, I know they are far from being saints or angels. They are kids. They have to learn about the world and how to care for others. However, dont you think that we can learn a bit more from them while we teach them?
(Also translating this to french for you. No reason as to why except that I can. I mess up blame google. I do not mean any offence if it comes out wrong.)

XD Thank you for google French, I appreciate the gesture xD But no need, I read english better than google speak french But I make mistakes... In both... Blame my fingers ?
I surely agree. I happen to sometimes forget a lot of things that are simple and important (even if I'm not that old, but we're all raised a bit twisted in different ways, so...) and have a kid make it completely obvious just under my nose x) Yougster (realy young I maen, like until 6) are like Peter Pan's Fairies to me : They are too tiny too feel several emotions at the same time xD They have mixed feelings, but most of the times they can't even put words on what is hurting them or making them happy. They are just
I totally understand your text, and I like it, it's small, clear and we feel what you've experianced because you got that one idea clear ^^ But when you read books, or see films lately, kids are... Like the saviors that are never wrong, it is caricatural on this era. Some times a character can stop define itself once we said "It' a kid !" so to say "It's innocent, his words are holy gifts !". And I used to do that too. So this "Aw, it's youg pure and cute" atmosphere sometimes make me a tiny bit carried away... I mean, either they are that, either hey are psychopath with a story that explain that they are too early adults. As if living corrupt averithing !
Your poem is good. But I like to recall that we are responsible of adorable (most of the times, just like internet kittens ) litle monsters and we CAN raise them so they stay a source of learning without being angelic stereotypes ^^
... Maybe I transposed my reading of your poem with that general througths and felt like giving a couterballance comment, so sorry if it seems weird ^^'

XD No problem. And dont worry. English may be my first language but I cannot spell worth anything. XD
Thank you for the feedback though. And it did not counterbalance it. Just made me think a little. I would have to agree though. Most of my education textbook often shows how children are angels. And I do fully agree with what you are saying. Yeah. We can teach them and help them grow without losing the lessons they can teach us. Thank you for having me think on this though. I do enjoy it.
And dont worry. I rant as well. XD

True, and it's fascinating how only children can ever be truly happy.
