A keyblade is totally a sword right? That totally counts, so here is Aqua for the last of my girls with swords series. This one was a lot of work, and a lot of playing around with lines and brushes and layer effects, but it was a lot of fun too.
Aqua is pretty awesome, especially for KH. I mean I love the series but she was really the first capable girl hero it got, despite people running around with keyblades all over. I really felt for her in BBS, because she knew what the right thing was and was just trying to do it, and here someone she cares about who is supposed to be able to take care of himself and make the right choices is taking off on his own and doing the wrong things and not listening and she can’t keep Ventus safe if she also has to run around keeping Terra from falling into darkness. Most of the story was Aqua trying to vain to corral these two and clean up Terra’s messes, and in the end she still had to make a compromise over saving them. I’m pretty interested to see what they do with her in the rest of the series.
