When in battle, He often moves out first, whether volunteering or going with instinct, if only to see what his team is up against. When facing great odds, he charges in with special weapons: like the energy swords, rocket launcher, a detached turret, or his favorite weapon, the SAW, to which he nicknamed the Confetti maker.

When out of Battle he is often the Ice-breaker, starting conversations and getting into them when the subject is right. Some cases, he's been known to break in-fighting, Especially between teammates. In both cases, one trait he does often is to use quotes from accent earth programing, mostly cartoons, this is due to the fact that his great-grandfather had a large collection of these old cartoons, passed down by his family back when earth was the only planet.

He had long mastered the skill of encryption, He knows software and hardware in and out and is a brilliant hacker. He has not only mastering human computers but also understand covenant, and to a lesser extent, forerunner (though he's more or less like a beginner to Forerunner tech, not full understanding and only uses covenant computers as examples)

When he worked with AIs, specifically smart AIs, he doesn't see them as just software, but another Ally in the good fight, and always feels mournful when one develops rampancy and has to be deleted.

His Belief of Balance shows in his armor, as he colored it in opposing colors: red and blue, even going as far as putting in eye contacts, one red, the other blue. His older brother was a great influence in this. His Dog tags also carries a dragon charm in the center, passed down from his brother, this gave him the codename Dragon Warrior.

One skill off the battle field is that he’s a great cook, he’s often seen going in the mess hall preparing with the Chefs there, and sometimes sneaking in when it was closed to make his team something, his specialty is a family recipe soup.

Bio: Dylan was only 5 years old when the Covenant attacked and glassed Madrigal. He and his family were evacuated thanks to the insurrectionist, the rebels fighting the UNSC, though his family owed the Rebels for their aid, they still didn’t believe in their fight against earth, since his family tree (and even some living family members) were strongly of earth decent.

When the population created “the Rubble” and became trade partners with the Kig-Yar (Jackals) He spent his few years growing up in an uneasy alliance and "peace" as the rubble leaders called it, his family avoided Kig-Yar activities with the Innies, as they trusted neither. Dylan didn’t trust these creatures either but it didn’t stop him from learning their language, his brother Thomas, older by 15 years, was on the Rubble’s Military, and he often taught Dylan Kig-Yar as he would be witness when they and the Rubble leaders spoke. When Dylan asked why he offered this, Thomas answered “Because its best to keep friends close, and your enemy closer."

Another teacher Dylan had was the AI, Juliana, who helped maintained the rubble. He like Juliana and though she was great. at his young age he was fascinated how she was able to control everything needed to keep the Rubble working, this was what gave him his fascination with computers, including his respect for smart AIs as he often spoke to her and asked her many questions.

When the Battle for the Rubble took place when he was 11, He was evacuated once again with his family...except his brother wouldn’t be coming back, he died during the Covenant’s attack, lead a ship to defend the Exodus Asteroid. All he had to remember him were a set of red and blue Dog tags that had elemental symbols of Fire and Water, and a Dragon, Thomas had a unique view and the elements represented balance to him. He wears those with his own Dog Tags to this day. When he also learn how Juliana Sacrificed herself to give the rubble citizens the time needed to escape, he mourned her lost as well as his brother's.

When his family escaped the Covenant and arrived at Falaknuma, they made arrangements to be transferred to earth, to live with their relatives until they can support themselves.

Dylan never forgot the sacrifice his brother made for them, so when he reached 18, he enlisted for the UNSC. He trained for the marine corp and his work granted him the rank of Corporal. He worked with Heavy weapons, and even learned how to operate Covenant weapons with skill. continuing his learning with computers, he mastered his skilled in hacking and infiltration. Because of his above average record, he was offered a place in the ODST.

Helljumper Training enhanced his skills in both specialty weapons and cryptanalysis, now he understood covenant tech more than before. There were a few Missions where he was promoted to Squad leader, always taking the lead to make sure his team would not get caught in a trap. one mission he fought along side a spartan, Spartan Robert-024. The rest of ODST hated Spartans and in his past, his childhood friends told stories at how bad they were, so Dylan had mixed feelings working with one.

The Mission involved stopping an infiltration force from gathering Data from a planet’s capital building when the Cole Protocol was not initiated. He ended up separated from his squad due to their pods landing, so he was left with the Spartan, whose pod landed closet to him. With time of the essence, Robert-024 suggested they rush the building. He took point and Dylan too the rear killing what the Spartan didn’t get. They made it to the center and saw Elites with Engineers transferring the Data to their ship. Taking out the aliens there, Dylan began hacking the computer and manages to cancel the transfer before it was finished.

The Spartan suggested to initiate a self-destruct. Dylan wires several explosions to a timer and they make their escape, but they soon came across Elite Zealots, who were sent to try and take the building again. The Spartan fought like nothing Dylan had seen, he was able to fend of the Zealots. However, one got a lucky blow and stabbed the Spartan in the chest, sending him to his knees, wounded and close to death. Dylan grabbed a fallen energy sword and dueled with the last two elite, he killed one, but the other struck his leg and he fell. He was as good as dead, but in the last moment, the bombs went off, the building started to come down, distracting the Elite enough for Dylan to get a clean shot. With the building coming down, the wounded Spartan crawled to him and covered most of Dylan’s body with his own, Locking his armor to prevent crushing him.

It was hours before his squad found him, his other leg crushed by rocks and Robert-024 dead from his wound. He had a new appreciation for the Spartans after that, and added Robert's number, 24, into his UNSC serial number and his service tag, to carry on the Spartan’s spirit. His legs were amputated and was given prosthetic legs at his request so he can keep fighting, though he was downgraded back to the Marine corps.

Dylan fought well into the end of the war in 2553, and spent two years on leave to be with his family. He spent those years in peace, getting to know new family that grew up during his time away, enjoying memories with his old, and even learned a few covenant languages, specifically Sangheili after making friends with Anbr 'Hojot, a Sangheili he fought with.

In 2555, he was given the Opportunity to join the Spartan IV Project. He accepted knowing that the War might start again. Dylan spent two years on the UNSC Infinity, training, undergoing Augmentations and learning new skills with new weapons Provided under the command of Spartan Lieutenant, now Commander, Sarah Palmer. After Training, he was Paired with the Spartan Squad of team Crimson and has been fighting ever since.
