Voice Claim: Will Poulter - youtu.be/pBw-_icCJ38

Personality
3 Positives:

1. Charismatic
He is quite a charming man when you make friendly chat with him. He hates negative energy rubbing off onto him from others, so he may attempt to lift the spirits of said downed person, but it may be more to keep himself from feeling the dead atmosphere than to actually help the said person.
2. Dedicated
It is hard for him to find his next step in life often times, thus when he DOES come across a new goal or destination, he is very persistent in achieving his goal and/or reaching his wanted destination.
3. Honest
While not all of his intentions are meant to help others, and more for himself, he would never lie to someone's face. If he deems you as so, his blunt honesty will tell you that you are an obnoxious, loud-mouthed a**hole. His honesty can be genuine, though, given a certain circumstance.
3 Negatives:
1. Aloof
This refers to a couple traits of his. He sometimes has disinterest in events (mostly people), especially if those said events are crowds of people gathered to get drunk and messed up at a festival, bar, or any other occasional gathering. He is often distant from the public, but is not afraid to tread the crowd if necessary. He also may be shy towards particular topics, and may aver the subject to another during conversation.
2. Sarcastic

Sometimes he will pop off a comment just to be snarky, but often times he can be easily frustrated with people when he loses his patience. Since he's adapted to his wolf persona, he's adopted a bit of snarkiness and can accidentally become a little rude.

3. Opinionated
To pair with his honesty, Ahote is quite opinionated, and is so bluntly. He will say what is on his mind without fear if his words might accidentally hurt the person he is referring to. Sometimes, given the situation and his current attitude, he will be harsh with his words as well.

Sexual Orientation:
 Bisexual

(He leans more towards men, but may find some females attractive. BUT! He is currently with a man right now, so he is not available/open for a relationship.)

Quirks and Extra Details:
- He tends to rub the back of his neck when he is nervous, stressed, or bashful. (This is actually a favorite place on his body he likes to be touched: the back of his neck where his hair ends. It's soothing when someone runs their fingers through his hair or strokes the back of his neck.)
- He sometimes breaks out in song (usually when listening to Queen, or other rock bands) and in dance when listening to his music, only when he thinks he isn't being watched. And he sometimes goes all out in his personal performance. And he has the booty to prove it. (His favorite song is Pour Some Sugar on Me.)
- His sneeze is anything BUT masculine. It sounds like a mouse. He gets embarrassed about it easily if someone comments on it.
- When writing in his journal, he likes to wave his pen in his fingers, and usually sends it flying across the room.
- During dinner or any occasion that involves eating, he will be seen usually drinking tea.
- He has a tendency to laugh at himself when he goofs up (excluding serious or dangerous situations).
- He actually wears reading glasses when he reads or writes. He has a habit of misplacing them.

 History
_____________________________________________________________________

WARNING: VERY LONG DESCRIPTION

Ahote was born to mother, Flora Evans, and father, William J. Evans. His mother was a sweet lady, but very fidgety sometimes due to her soft and wary nature. She doted Ahote, often spoiling him as a young child. Ahote's father often was not home, but was overall a gentleman with high standards, and very high expectations for his son. He was usually strict when it came to his son's education and posture, but he was proud of his son all the same. Ahote was a good student, and even his teacher often praised the boy during parent-teacher meetings at school. He was easily that boy everyone would call "goody-two-shoes", to the point where his parents trusted him when he wanted to go outside by himself. Ahote had a relatively lovely childhood from birth to seven years old. Sandown was home to a zoo where he could always go and see the exotic animals, and he could always visit his mother at the restaurant when he got out of school. It never took much to entertain him. He was usually a happy child, always smiling, always finding interest in any object that was within reach. His mother often read him stories before bed, and his favorite toy was a stuffed lamb named Georgie.

Ahote was very friendly, but was very awkward when it came to making friends. Ahote's parents considered that letting Ahote have a pet would encourage him to make friends and teach him the responsibility of taking care of an animal. Ahote had picked out a hamster, a cute, fluffy little guy which Ahote affectionately named Noodle due to the first thing having been fed to the little hamster being a spaghetti noodle. It was a skittish little thing, though. It hardly let Ahote hold it, and once, it even bit Ahote's finger, making the boy drop it. That little hamster disappeared the same day, and even to this day, Ahote doesn't know where it went. He supposes it escaped and got outside somehow. He eventually made friends in school, and everything seemed to be going smoothly for the young boy, much to his parents' relief. The older he grew, his attitude began to muddle into something less familiar. His parents were concerned about their little boy's behavior, especially when he began to get involved in fights in school. When they tried consulting with him, he merely responded with confusion, as if he did not know what he did was wrong or that he knew it was never his fault. It was considered that Ahote was a victim of bullying, but he would never confirm this, and this worried his parents. Was he afraid to talk to him? Was he the one that usually started the conflicts, and just didn't want to tell them in fear of being punished? Flora harped on her son, continuously begging him to explain himself. The fights began with about once or twice within a two week period, but they began to become more frequent, and Ahote found himself in detention more than often. Since Ahote's attitude began to change, his father began to limit the amount of time Ahote was allowed to leave the house for. He could not stay outside past dusk, and if he did, which was often, William often punished him for his disobedient behavior. Then, the arguments began between William and Flora. Flora would plea that they take their son to see a therapist, someone who could try to relate to Ahote and come to understand his change in recent behavior. William was against letting total strangers "interrogate" their son, in his own words. How could a total stranger understand their son more then the mother and father, after all? Ahote often heard them fighting downstairs in their house, but he did not understand why his parents suddenly began to act so paranoid as of late, and frankly, it bothered him. It was honestly irritating that they worried so much about his well-being. Perhaps, he did not realize the sudden change in his behavior.

When he turned thirteen, he began showing further signs of erratic changes in behavior. He hit his growth spurt, and began to run through the course of the beloved cycle of puberty. While his childish scuffles with other kids on the playground as a little kid were more of an annoyance than an actual pain, during puberty, the fights worsened. He came home often covered in bruises and a busted lip, evidence of fights in school. He began to neglect his grades for short periods of time, which displeased his father, and he began to find that he and his father argued more than ever. His poor mother often tried to stop their fights, and while her interference often was not wanted, she did seem to be the one Ahote listened to the most, or at least it was easier for him to comply to her requests than his father. In school, he began to take up the role as a troublemaker. Through this, he actually made friends with those who were... not good company. He was away from home more than usual. And, yes, he even went through the girl-chasing phase, but it was very short.

His relationship with his father was edgy, but he still loved his mother unconditionally. If anything, he was very protective over her. She fell into a depression, and she became very quiet for a period of time in Ahote's life. There were times that she and William would argue, and Ahote would break it up, often aggressively, because he knew she was stressed enough already without his father enforcing authority in the house. Maybe that was why Ahote was away from the house for some days... He didn't want to feel the oppression of his parents' struggles.

Ahote had his own unexpected struggles, though, as well. There were peculiar times where Ahote just... doesn't remember anything. It usually occurred around the course of a couple times every month, normally during bright nights with full moons. He experienced blackouts, and often felt very, very exhausted during the day. He often found himself dozing off in classes, sleeping in late and staying up at nights; he also found himself daydreaming and experiencing strange dreams in his sleep, most of the time not very vivid. Sometimes when he awoke, he was very physically sore, and mentally drained. He found some of his mother's sleeping pills, which she used to help her sleep when was stressed or not feeling well; they aided her in her depression. He secretly began using them as a way to relieve his weird insomnia, but this seemed to only worsen his symptoms. He began to have random hallucinations, sudden brief images of events or... something. During this time, he was very confused mentally. It was difficult to differentiate what was real, and what wasn't. He stopped taking the pills several weeks after he started. Another reason he stopped was because his mother began to notice her pills going missing. He also began to notice... things... around the house. He began to find hair, first. It seemed to be everywhere-on his bed, the carpet, random furniture throughout the house... It was much like his own hair, though, so he just figured he just had a head full of hair that was just shedding. Then there was the clothes. They would be stained, sometimes with brown, sometimes red. Dirt, blood, he wasn't sure what it was. And he couldn't recall how they ever ended up that way. He blamed it on getting into fights at school, and the more he began to notice, the more he began to accept that they were just from scuffling with other teenagers. Maybe he got into more fights than he thought...

Several years went by, and his mother and father began to notice the changes in not only his behavior, but even his physical appearance. He was becoming lean and more muscular, his features sharpening. Strangely enough, he did not grow very much, a feature that surprised the two since William was quite a tall man and Flora not even being too petite herself. His diet began to lean towards foods packed with protein, often being assortments of meats, which was what his parents assumed was the reason for his gradually changing bodily structure. Then, things suddenly began to quieten down in the family. Ahote's attitude began to fade, and he began to show signs of settling down and finally finding himself. Over the course of months, his grades in school began to improve, and his overall attitude in the house became a more positive one. William found hope for his son again, and his mother's depression lessened to the point where she no longer purchased medications. Ahote made amends with his father and mother, and while he personally did not understand what exactly had caused his obnoxious behavior over the years, he was willing to comply an work to rebuild what he had broken in the family. He had been eaten away by guilt, and he slowly began improving his own confidence again.

Yet...

One fateful night, on a Thursday night in August, the year of his nineteenth birthday, one simple mistake changed his life. Ahote and his father had gotten into a heated argument. Flora was proceeding with collecting the clothes which needed to be washed, and she happened across an empty bottle of her prescriptions in Ahote's room. William, recalling Ahote's negative behavior from the years before, feared that his son was falling into that stage again, and he thus became furious. This was a long time after Ahote had stopped taking the medication, so he continuously denied that he was still taking them. He had completely forgotten about the medication, and he had only tried taking the over a course of a couple weeks. He had merely forgotten the bottle was still hidden in his room. The fact that his father was so suddenly jumping on the opportunity to accuse him of taking his mother's medication offended him. He had just begun to pull his life together! He would be graduating from high school in the coming spring! Why would he jeopardize that after working so hard to fix his relationship with his parents? Ahote became very defensive, his aggression steadily rising the more his father harped. His father could not stay any longer because he had to go to work, though, and he was too worked up to continue quarreling with his son. He left the house, allowing Ahote to retreat angrily to his bedroom while Flora felt it best to leave her son alone for the night.

Ahote had gone to bed, frustrated, and feeling helpless. It seemed that no matter how he tried to prevent it, things could never get better for him, and if they did, things only fell apart again. He was very restless throughout the early hours of the night, emotions stirred and his body aching terribly. These painful flashes happened occasionally, becoming increasingly common as the months had previously passed. This time the aches were much more painful, quite similar to the horrible growing pains as a kid. It was after a few hours that he began to find the pain unbearable. He ended up curled up in bed, writhing, crying out and tearing at the blankets that tangled with his legs. His body felt as if it had been set on fire.

Meanwhile downstairs, Flora was still sitting up, waiting for her drowsiness to eventually hit her hard enough to send her to bed. Suddenly, there was a loud banging at the door, startling her, and when she went to investigate, the door was broken off of its hinges. Three men, armed with baseball bats and dressed completely in black with their faces covered by black stockings, barged in. One took hold of her and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming, and she desperate tried to fight them. The other two men, while their chatter was quick and uncoordinated, excused each other to search the house for any valuable items. They tore through the first floor, rattling drawers and slamming doors, knocking glass objects and tearing furniture apart. It was then that they heard a high-pitched wail from upstairs, and one of the men hurried to check it out. Flora thrashed her head, allowing herself the chance to rip her holder's hand from her mouth. She screamed, calling Ahote's name, her struggles becoming desperate as the burglar disappeared up the stairs.

Ahote's body trembled violently, covered in a thick lather of sweat as he tossed, eventually throwing himself off the bed and with a hard slam onto the floor. Everything hurt, excruciating pain electrocuting and seemingly paralyzing his entire body. He clenched his fists so tightly that when he briefly opened them again, he found that his nails had become longer and sharp, and had cut into his palms. His teeth felt as if his wisdoms had come through again, only instead his whole jaws also felt as if they were being torn apart. His back arched, his claws scraped the ground. In the background of this terrifying experience, he could hear the screams of his mother. His senses were heightened, and her voice rang in his ears painfully. A rage awakened within him, part of him knew something was wrong, and another was just furious, a blind rage due to pain and confusion. He tried desperately to stand, but he felt so numb that he stumbled back to the ground, letting out a holler of mixed rage and pain. It was then that the burglar swung the door open, and the sight he happened upon was terrifying. The young man's body was exposed from the lack of clothes, and his back appeared to be rippling like a tensing muscle after an extensive exercise.  His arms bulged and it seemed that... hair, was growing at a steady pace on various areas of his body. His ears grew into pointed ends, and when Ahote, having heard the sound of the door slamming against the wall, lifted his head, his eyes seemed to glow a brighter green than normal, and the whites of his eyes almost entirely unseen. His jaws opened to reveal fangs, and the young man emitted a menacing, uncoordinated snarl that startled the burglar into dropping his bat. The sound of the metal banging the tile floor agitated Ahote, and it was then that his senses completely vanished, and everything was replaced with a blinding white rage.

From downstairs, a series of agonizing shrieks and the sounds of bodies tumbling around the floor could be heard. Flora wept in despair, taking those unfamiliar sounds as Ahote's pained screams, and she was helpless to stop the men. The extra man which was not holding her, then began towards the stairs, but before he reached them, a figure leapt down the whole flight of stairs, and landed right in front of him. While the figure was not even as tall as himself, the burglar jumped back with a start. Ahote stood there, at first in a crouched position, but he straightened himself. His form was much heavier-set than before, and his shirtless body heaved with heavy breaths, and his trousers were clearly too tight as his muscles enlarged. His gaze was unfocused, wild even, but terrifying all the same. Blood dripped from his lips, painting his whole front. He growled like an animal, and when his mother suddenly screamed his name, the burglar in front of him swung the bat, catching Ahote in the shoulder and sending him to the ground. He snapped. He tackled the offender to the ground, mauling him, tearing into him. Blood poured onto the floor, and the poor man's friend released Flora to try to help his comrade. Ahote finished the man on the ground off, and turned to the youngest of the three criminals with a deathly gaze which locked the young man in a state of terror. He turned and bolted out of the house, and Ahote started after him. But then, his mother shouted his name, and he halted. Rage continued to ripple through him, yet her soft, shaking voice reached down into him to a place that seemed impossible now to reach. He turned to her, and for the first time, he was able to harness the smallest ounce of control over his current state before his legs buckled. A weak shake took over him, and his strength suddenly flowed from him like water from a glass. His body became pain-stricken once again, and he finally resulted on the floor, curled, shaking, crying. His mother wasted no time in tending to her son, and the last thing Ahote remembered before passing out was his mother's tearful face and her shrill voice crying out his name.

A call came through of a robbery to the police station, and William was home in a matter of less than an hour. When he arrived on scene, and he made sure he was the first, the first thing he noticed was the blood that stained the living room. Flora in panic explained what had happened, and was astonished that William seemed almost... calm. He calmed his wife, instructed her to keep a lookout at the window and inform him when other police arrived, and he hurried upstairs to see his son. Flora had taken him to her and William's room, away from the dead body which still remained in Ahote's bedroom. He was unconscious and unresponsive, but alive and seemingly unharmed. He returned downstairs and began working on the bloody scene in the living room. When other police arrived on scene, they already held the young suspect which had escaped the house earlier in custody, and William explained to his fellow officers that Flora had seen the suspects had turn on each other while in the process of robbing the house, and had attacked Ahote when he tried protecting his mother and thus being the reason he could not see anyone at the moment. A kitchen knife and ice pick were planted in the dead burglars' hands, and because there was clear sign of struggle and any wounds on the men were nearly impossible to connect to any other cause (they were too extensive to connect to any possible weapons), it was a believable story. The bodies were disposed from the house and the police left.

When Ahote woke, he was very confused and a terrible bruise had formed on his shoulder from being hit with a baseball bat. William had no choice but to explain why he was covering up the real story of what happened, and why Ahote had ended up the way he did. William revealed that his mother, Ahote's grandmother, had been bitten by a creature in a period of her life. She gained the ability to turn into a monster, a wolf-like creature, or as William tentatively put it, a "werewolf". Ahote had at first thought he was joking, probably to lighten up the mood after such a traumatic event. But then William reminded Ahote of the key times in his life that backed his explanation, such as his erratic behavioral changes throughout his life, his temper becoming worse, his blackouts and those times he often disappeared for nights on end and Ahote not even remembering so, and these occurrences happening on the nights of full moons being the most obvious. He even brought up a memory Ahote had long forgotten. When he had been five years old, he had gotten into his mother's jewelry box and into her silver earrings and necklaces. He was so suddenly covered in a horrible rash and blisters nearly immediately. William also added that he himself had never transformed into a werewolf before, to his current knowledge, anyway, and Flora was completely human, so the only explanation was that somehow his mother's DNA was mutated, and allowed her son, William, to carry the gene as a recessive trait which passed onto Ahote. William had hoped that somehow he could keep Ahote from finding out about his grandmother being a werewolf, and had spoken little of her over the years (she had already passed before Ahote's birth, so he had no knowledge of her throughout his life). That was why he was so hard on Ahote and why he held much tension towards him. He had his suspicions, but he was so dedicated to making sure Ahote grew up as a healthy, well-educated human, that he never realized that his own attitude had actually pushed Ahote into such behavior.

It seemed unreal, but everything matched up and... oddly, things began to make sense. Sure, it felt completely like a dream to Ahote, but in a way, while still rather terrified, he was actually relieved. He felt that there was a true explanation, a real reason of his life's problems, and that everything that had happened was not totally his fault. At this realization, the family was finally able to move on. The incident with the burglars passed, and Ahote's name was safe from the crime scene. He graduated from his high school with little over decent grades, but his mother and father were still proud of him, and they were relieved that the drama of their lives was over. Ahote began college after graduation to major in medical sciences, but something didn't seem right once he got into his sophomore year. His grades were fine, and there was little drama in his life, but ever since the discovery of his heritage a year before, he felt a sort of emptiness inside. Questions stained his mind. Were there other werewolves somewhere in the world? He often researched, finding myths of these creatures, and recording the most recent, convincing sightings of werewolves across the country and beyond. Germany held many sightings, according to locals and articles on the internet, but at this point, rescheduling classes for the upcoming spring semester would be fruitless. He would not be able to take online classes because they would be taken up, and if he wished to travel, he could not stay in any place too long because he would have to return to resume his classes. His determination, and even instinct, to find others of his kind outweighed the desire to remain in school, and after several weeks of consideration, he finally confronted his parents on the decision. They were surprised, concerned, but they realized that Ahote was too far into this werewolf business to be persuaded otherwise. They understood the reason behind Ahote's intentions, and knew they could not keep their son in their household forever. They also considered it better for Ahote to actually leave England, and away from the place where most of his childhood hardships had occurred.

And so, Ahote made his exit from his little home on the Isle of Wight, and began his search in Spain. During his first year, he lived off money William and Flora had sent with him for support. He traveled from town to town, and without a job to support himself and the money his parents lending him disappearing quickly, he had to support himself by working part-time jobs with random people he came across. His search for fellow werewolves was much harder than he anticipated. After all, werewolves were believed to be a myth amongst the majority of the world. Most people said werewolves did not exist, some laughed at him for such silly research. Communication was very limited because many people in these European countries spoke little English, and getting around was very difficult. He often stuck with tourists, often from America, but he eventually had to leave them. So, his search for others of his kind turned into an act of survival. He never stayed in one spot for long, and the money he earned on his part-time jobs usually didn't add up to much on almost all occasions. He finally arrived to France, and there he met Papiinee, whom he discovered was a werewolf... just like him. He was fascinated, and even shy, about meeting another werewolf. He was so ecstatic about meeting him that one could compare him to a fanboy. Papiinee at least seemed more comfortable with the fact that he was a werewolf, and Ahote learned much from Papiinee during their time together, much more than he ever imagined. The two united and decided to travel together, and as time passed, they eventually decided to accept each other as closer than just the need for companionship.

Over time, Ahote began to harness his ability to shapeshift. It's still shaky and more often times than not his emotions yank his control from his hands, but he now has the ability to willingly turn into a wolf.

Example:

It seemed that the day would never end. As that blinding sun sank behind the horizon, casting an orangish-red glow across his features, Ahote breathed in a sigh of irritation as the air gave way to a crisp freshness that replaced the sweet warmth of day. Despite the fact that he always felt a sort of heightened alertness at the hour of night, he also disliked the cold which accompanied the dark. He bundled up his sweater and shoved his hands into his pockets, and after taking a moment to stand idle, to grow once again accustomed to the chill that shook his frame, he turned and went on his way. As he wandered down the now dark, empty street of his hometown, his eyes cut from left to right at the opposite sides of the street. He knew he had nothing to fear. He held the strength capable of tearing a man apart with relative ease.

Yet, the hair on the back of his neck pricked with a wary chill. Pine eyes flickered over his shoulder when he heard the scurrying of a cat in the nearby yard, and he spotted it, chasing a mouse along the edge of the building. He paused, and strangely, he could not take his gaze from the scene. The little mouse, so insignificant and with no hand in any kind of harm on its own, was now in the clutches of the feline after it pounced. As the cat took the rodent into it's mouth, Ahote listened for the breaking of the mouse's bones. He did. A tiny, nearly soundless tapping. He had been so entranced with the killing of the mouse, watching the cat, that he lost his breath when a new sound interrupted the silence only a couple feet to his left. He jumped, and like a deer he swiveled around and ended in a sprawled stance, knees bent and his hands held out in front of him in expectancy. In front of him, was a dog. A large dog. With no particular features to determine its breed, it stared at Ahote, teeth bared, eyes piercing the darkness with the shine from the streetlight.

"Shit..." the young man murmured under his breath, relaxing his posture, his shoulders going slack and his arms hanging at his sides. He frowned at the dog. "Nearly gave me a heart-attack." When the dog only continued to growl, following so with a fierce chain of barks, Ahote noticed that it was tied to a tree, chain dangling from the collar. His lip pulled, and he grinned maliciously. Instead of a chuckle of amusement, a rumbling, menacing sound gargled from his chest, and when he bared his teeth in a snarl, his canines were lengthened, pearly white as he opened his jaw to let loose a terrifying snarl. His chest bowed and his shoulders tightened, his posture straightening. The dog suddenly turned fearful of this sudden change in atmosphere, and it gave a pitiful whimper before whirling around and diving for the doghouse at the base of the tree.

"Heh... That's what I thought." Ahote snickered, teeth gradually returning to their normal length as he then turned away, and began making his way down the street, confidence once again returned.

Hey Dragon! I'm Red and I'm with Unity, we were wondering what pack you were looking to join!
Here are the packs from biggest to smallest size: North > West > East
South is currently closed
-RED

I am considering East, but I am also discussing it with a friend who will be joining with me with our characters being a couple. We considered joining without a pack first, and then joining one soon after we get accepted into the group and all that good stuff.

You and your friend will have to pick a pack in order to join Unity as that pack alpha will be the one accepting your application ^^ Otherwise we cannot accept your member request and you'll have to wait till the next opening

Sorry about not getting to your comment! Thank you so much! I am actually very new at drawing humans, it took me hours and many references just to get that simple pose! 😂
