Wild-Whisper-Forest

Prompt: You've moved from the Prairie grasses to reach the pond - but not before a testy mother charges your way.

Lost, alone, and terrified after the catastrophic events of the volcanic eruption, little Kadek struggles to keep from getting into trouble in a strange, unfamiliar land. Separated from his beloved guardian, Skoll, and no familiar face to run to, Kadek wants nothing more than to hide from the enormous creatures that graze amongst the plains. Unfortunately, his efforts to quench his thirst lead him too close to a Bison calf, and a mother wastes no time in expressing her ferocity to protect her offspring. Kadek is left with a dreadfully sprained foreleg after the attack, and he limps away to hide in the nearby forest in which he had come.

Hopefully Skoll, or any willing wolf, will happen across the little pup and be able to offer protection and a means to eat.
