A closeup of Nickle Plate Road 765s main drivers as she rests from a days run on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Rail.Interesting note, the main axle rod where all the drivers come together weighs nearly 2 tons and at 60 miles an hour it rotates 6 times a second. Otherwise something that weighs the same as a large SUV. That impresses me.
