Speaking as a rail fan, these are one of those images that never gets old. We look at this long metal snake winding through the countryside and can't help but note how elegant and refined these machines are, despite being just noisy and loud to others.
The circular form here is obvious, but it doesn't feel tacky or overdone and is really quite pleasant to look at. The light is hitting the train at just the right time, and the obfuscation of the train itself by the trees, hill and tunnel adds depth and interest. The scene works *because* there is a train in it, but you already know that I'm sure.
The whole scene is beautiful and well composed, and combined with your timing on the train, we get only the information we need. Good foreground interest, rolling hills in the back, and an obvious subject. As a photo, it works very well.
I have only one concern, and it's that the photo seems a bit hazy and washed over. I don't think it needs intense amounts of saturation and contrast, just a little bit of punch. This was taken in the middle of the day I assume, so perhaps underexposing by just a bit would give you the right amount of contrast.
