The best advice I can give is to find this book - "The Animator's Survival Kit." by Richard Williams. It's a fantastic book that goes through all the real nuts and bolts of animation, the tools to create realistic, living characters. Everything I know about animation, I learned from that book.

OTL I am a fan of his (And Don Bluth ) so i've heard of the book, buuut the problem is getting enough money for a copy.

Ah, Don Bluth's films are great! Although all his male protagonists look the same...(Same facial shape and haircut.) XD But definitely, if you can save the money for it, it is SO WORTH IT.

It's a book, and it's an AWESOME book. Everything I know about animation, I learned from it. It's by Richard Williams - he was head of animation for "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

It's all about exaggeration - when your character goes somewhere, move him a little extra that way. Then when he goes back the other way, push him a little extra farther. So Leo here, his head went up - down - to one side, then the other - back down - then back UP - then back to normal, where his jaw dropped. XD
