X'D The wait was entirely due to being paid to paint ponies and also working on family art projects...along with everything else I've gotta be doing to get ready for school. But at long last, we get a good look at our protagonist!
And a lot of his blood. Ooh. Ouch.
I'm really pleased with how his pose turned out though...reference pictures help so much! So go and take photos of yourself limping. It helps so much.

It got set aside in favor of other projects. But! It will probably be finished at some point in the future. I have the whole thing sketched out, it's just doing the rest of the painting for it. And since I was pouring such effort into each panel to make it as beautiful as possible, it was unfortunately sapping a lot of time and energy. I needed to find a way to be more time and energy efficient, which I gratefully did as I began Dragontry. So for now, the Prior is suspended.
