Blue x Sundew!I know Willow and Sundew are canon and Blue and Cricket are most likely gonna be canon, but I had a thought the other day about how adorable of a couple Blue and Sundew would be!
Sundew is sour and Blue is sweet. She's bent on revenge while he's too thoughtful to even consider it. They're polar opposites, personality-wise, but at the end of the day, they both care more about their loved ones than they do about themselves- just in drastically different ways.

For a second I really thought that was Morpho, since I've never seen Sundew shipped with Blue before now (only Morpho, Cricket, Willow of course, and Winter).
I do really like how they came out though. They both look really good.

I've never seen any ship art of Sundew with anyone but Willow, but that's probably because I don't really look up art of them very often.

I've seen these two:
Sundew and Pike (I don't remember who the original artist is, though, but I first found it like 2 years ago)
Sundew and Morpho (I commissioned this one)
But yeah, the ships I'd refer to were mainly going around on the WoF wiki before the release of The Poison Jungle. People were just throwing out random ships that involved Sundew. Some more likely than others, but eh.

Oh these are so cute! As someone who doesn't really like to stray from canon ships (mostly because I don't like getting disappointed when the ship I'm rooting for doesn't happen), the moment Sundew mentioned Willow I instantly caught that they were or at least were going to be canon, so with that in my mind I just never went looking for anything but those two. Never let my mind wander to different ship possibilities with them.

Yeah, I'm the same way when it comes to ships a lot of the time (although I can be open-minded to non-canon ships that have a backstory/reason behind them or don't completely clash with canon [i.e. pretending that Sunny loves Starflight, Moonwatcher loves Winter, etc. that we know isn't the case].
Although I ship both Sundew and Willow and Sundew and Morpho. Sundew/Willow in things I write set during/before arc 3; Sundew/Morpho for things set after, as before Book 13's release, I'd headcanoned that they are dating but would eventually break up due to Sundew being a warmonger and Willow being a pacifist (clashing opinions being the cause, as is the case for a lot of real-world couples). I won't spoil how she ended up with Morpho in the future eventually, but if you look for my story Fugitives in my DA gallery (it has its own folder), you can find that out by reading it (when you get to the third part).
