Here are some demon slayer fanfiction characters I came up with, including their abilities and short back story. Concept ideas.

Abilities:
Freezing Breathing Style (an experimental breathing style sword technique that draws all heat and moisture from the surrounding air, surrounds the opponent with powerful freezing winds and encases them in paralyzing ice. In addition, this breathing style is capable of various other inhibiting combat techniques).
Dual Nichirin Sword-Wielding (Thomas possesses an obsidian black Nichirin Sword that once belonged to the creator of the Freezing Breathing Style. As well as a new Nichirin Sword with a light blue blade covered with a pattern of white snowflakes along its length).
Steel Oni Mask (an Oni mask with an air-filtering mouthguard to protect against poisonous demonic gases and conceal Thomas's identity as a foreigner).

Fanfiction Character Short back story Concept:
(to possibly be used as another story installment arc of the demon slayer series or maybe a non-canon movie).

A ship traveling from America to Switzerland got attacked by a band of pirates who abducted all the ship's passengers and forced them into slavery.

Luckily, young Thomas Kold's skill with art and languages was enough to convince his captors to hold off separating his family by forging legal documents and shipping manifests and serving on their captor's ship.

Thomas and his family remained as the ship's slaves for a couple of years until the slave ship docked outside the shores of Japan, where it was clear to Thomas that he and his family were about to be sold off.

Fortunately, an argument between the captain and slave dealer devolved into an all-out fight, allowing Thomas and his family the chance to escape the ensuing chaos on the ship.

They eventually made it to Enoshima island and took refuge in a cave just after nightfall while the remaining crew made their way to them.

While the fleeing family prepared to repel their former captors, the night was suddenly filled with screams of pain and horror as the ship's crew was attacked by a demon that resided on the island.

Attempting to distract himself from the horrific sounds outside, Thomas explored the cave where he discovered a dusty demon slayer uniform, an obsidian black Nichirin Sword, and a diary with notes on a new experimental breathing style technique developed by a former Hashira.

The diary secrets took so much of Thomas's attention that he didn't even notice the predawn light creeping across the island, and the blood-covered demon, that was scrambling for the cave's protection.

Within seconds, the demon had already incapacitated most of Thomas's family and headed toward the young man with a horrific face twisted by frenzied hunger.

Without thinking, Thomas took hold of the sword and concentrated on what he read in the book as he swung the blade toward the demon's neck.

Time stood frozen as the demon's head flew up in the air while its body fell to the ground, encased in ice.

Once Thomas and his family recovered from the ordeal, they made their way down the shoreline and began to bury their former slave captors' bodies, then made their way to the mainland.

Not wanting to draw attention from the locals with their blood-soaked slave rags, Thomas had donned the demon slayer uniform and used the money they gathered from their captors to buy suitable clothing for his family.

Afterward, they made their way down the city streets of Tokyo, where Thomas encountered another demon slayer and demanded to explain himself in front of Kagaya Ubuyashiki.
Who had to explain that the uniform, sword, and diary had once belonged to a former comrade of Ubuyashiki.
Who was believed to have been killed by Muzan Kibutsuji but had been infected by Kibutsuji and held off the demonic transformation long enough with his experimental breathing techniques to confine himself on Enoshima island

Impressed with how Thomas had utilized his former colleague's experimental breathing style, Ubuyashiki asked if Thomas would be willing to join the demon slayer core, which he agreed to do as a means of providing for his family.

After this, Thomas was allowed enough time to practice and master the freezing breathing style techniques before taking the final selection examination. It was here that he encountered "The Wisteria Lady of mount Fujikasane" and began his mission to prevent demons from leaving Japan's borders.
