Having the chance to see the future was something that Zari didn't much care for, the future was something to be forged in time. Even if you have an idea about how a certain event would turn out, it didn't mean that it would play out the way it was intended to when the time came. The past however was something that she had always wondered about... she was never too interested in it, not really actively seeking it out but it was a stray thought that has crossed her mind on multiple occasions.

'What do you want to see?' The answer seemed obvious to the lancer and the vision faded into view.

A couple and their baby, trekking through a forest one dark night, they seem rather lost, perhaps they were lost. Zari didn't know their names, but considering what she had asked to see and the familiar feeling in her chest towards the two people in the vision, the lalafell knew exactly who they were. For the first time in her life, the faces of her actual parents were known to her. The longer she watched the couple and how protective they were towards her infant self, the more the home sick sensation in her grew, these two just didn't seem like the type to just drop their baby off somewhere out of the blue, if by any chance that they were still around-

'I want to know their part of the story.' Zari thought by the end.
