Description Bam! xD

So this is a drawing of agent Mizz....here: cyran204.deviantart.com/art/Ag… in his 'new' armour I guess you could say. It was fun drawing him, nice to draw something armoured thats not halo armour haha.

So this is from the scene in an RP between me and Cyran204 where Missouri's adopted daughter (Ziree), is captured and being interrogated by the innies. This is when he finds out where and is making his not so secret entrance.

Also if your smart you won't get on his bad side, seriously, don't mess with his daughter.

Anyways about the actually drawing - it was fun! It was perspective practice, and anatomy too, I'm really happy with it. The background is okay-ish but not great, the armour and mizz himself came out good though. I like the shading, . This is basically fan-art because Missouri is awesome, and he's fun to draw so. Yeah.

Enjoy!

for some reason, i get an iraq-war kind of vibe from looking at this. maybe it's the SAS in me coming back to the surface, but this feels familiar, in some respects. that is, except when the SAS breach and clear, we don't 'sparta kick' the bloody door down. we're not THAT strong. that, and it leaves us in a vulnerable position if there are hostiles on the other side.

Dragotan In reply to KyleShepard313 [2014-03-29 16:56:46 +0000 UTC]

Yeah makes sense! And in real-life you probably wouldn't as the door is the 'fatal-funnel' basically. You'd shot the hinges with a shotgun or some other way.....But Missouri has armour, and he looks more epic this way. xD

or det' the door with a breaching charge. yeah, that's true, but soldiers today don't have that luxury. yet. hey, R&D doofuses, get on it!

but it's arguably the safest way to breach and clear a room. which is why armies all over the world use it over anything else. the police can kick doors down, i know that for a fact, namely because they don't have assault rifle toting maniacs cowering behind the door.

I'm pretty certain you don't spread it round the internet if you're SAS or whatever.

hey, it's helpful advice to those who are going to join the military. and besides, we're on the internet, i highly doubt anyone cares about what military i served with before returning to civilian life. now if i were in a special ops unit, that would be a different story, but i wasn't.

SAS is special forces.

KyleShepard313 In reply to Cyran204 [2014-03-29 17:40:21 +0000 UTC]

indeed they are, but i'm not going into detail about the missions we've been on, what weapons we used, etc. and last time i checked, breaching a door isn't exactly 'classified information'. besides, nobody in their right mind would come at a former SAS. if they were young and stupid, yeah, but you'd have to be somebody insane to try and injure a soldier.

How long were you in for?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KyleShepard313 In reply to Cyran204 [2014-03-29 17:44:11 +0000 UTC]

about two years. it's not as long as some of the people i served with have been in the SAS, but still, given the circumstances, and the places we get put in, two years feels like a lifetime, and you just want to forget about it all when you get home.

Your file says you are twenty, that is way too young for an SAS soldier, how did you end up joining the SAS?

KyleShepard313 In reply to Cyran204 [2014-03-29 17:53:47 +0000 UTC]

ah, yeah. that was a typo on my part, i wasn't paying attention when i was setting up my profile, and accidentally made myself a good three years younger than i am. that, and since i was out of the house, i couldn't ask my mother when i was born. i'd forgotten already (i know the month and day, just not the year) and since i was moved in to my new flat, i had to guess. and i HATE guessing. T_T so yeah. sorry about that. plus, i was getting my life together on top of that, adjusting to civilian life after being gone for a while, etc., so it wasn't like i really had the time to ask her. plus, it's not exactly normal conversation. XD

23 is still young for a soldier, how long were you in the army for?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KyleShepard313 In reply to Cyran204 [2014-03-29 18:13:58 +0000 UTC]

yeah, i know. but, if i got to defend my country from those who would see it burn, it was worth it. like i said, about two years. and trust me, two years to a soldier is hell on earth. but it wasn't made hell by the people i served with. no, if you just keep your head down, and follow orders, you do just fine. it was the enemy, and the climate in which we had to work, that made my service hell. i mean really, you're taking a man from london, who is more acclimated to cold climates, and sticking him in the middle of a desert that reaches AT AVERAGE 120 degrees fahrenheit.

well, i like you use fahrenheit. call me weird, but that's just how i was taught. my father was american, and my mom was a fellow brit, so we used both. i just acclimated to fahrenheit better.
