Description
In spite of having completely botched poor Jeul's wings and her spots being not QUITE the right colour (I'd prefer they be duller but don't have a suitable grey-blue to overlay with) this came out kind of cute. The colouring isn't as smooth as the others because I was so concerned about the spots, and I tried to leave highlights but ended up losing them everywhere but the chest when I went over with the purplier blue for her primary coat. I need to work out her anatomy... and make a species template for the Rharin/Faenin (Same thing, different names.)Related content

Too make things smoother sometimes i lay down the darker colours first, shade from dark to light so that I don't need to worry about my dark colours bleeding into my light ones?

Oooh, that's actually a really good idea. I'm used to watercolour, where you work light to dark, so it's hard to wrap my head around doing it the other way round. I will definately try that!

I like the color choices, they flow well with the design ^^ Maybe it'd be easier to do her wings duller if they were over a background?

Thank you very much! I will try working in backgrounds, but I'm a little bit... afraid... of my markers. I've only done one background with them, and it hasn't got any characters in it. XD I imagine having a background will help with her wing colours in the future though.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I hatehate backgrounds because I never can get the characters to look like they're incorporated in it. D: But maybe its just a matter of practice
