Before you all beat me to the ground which I know that you want to... I made some edits to this, and I really, honestly think they've improved it, and I had forgotten to ask for critiques and editing the original file wouldn't have it requesting critiques for everyone who had just X'd it out so... yeah. Sorry, don't feel like you need to look at it again...This is part of Ka's new Layout! She's lookin' all creepy like whoa, and the latest version even has some of the sky's lightsource, rather than just the lamp which gives her some nice definition I think. Uhm yep, Ka's my baby.

I can't write a crit for crap, but here goes. The overall feeling for this picture gives off a chill that really fits Ka's personality. A well done piece, but it can be made stronger. The shading on Ka's body is rather detailed and beautiful, however the rest of the picture is flat and it makes it seem awkward. The lamp's light should be more definite by adding a brighter and bigger glow. The purpose of a lamp post is to light up a dark area, and if you look into one they are actually pretty bright and light up a lot of things. Some of the light reaches to the pole that holds it and even to the top of the actual lamp itself ([link] ). I suggest adding more glow to the lamp post and to Ka's body, because at the moment it looks like Ka's body is moonlit (minus the small orange tints), instead of lamp lit.. Another thing to crit on is the background.. Its very... flat. I know you didn't put that much effort into it due to the fact that its in the background and isn't supposed to stand out, but they are very 2-D and it actually draws attention to it.. So add some dimensions into it and some window lights! A city doesn't sleep all the time! But dim them a lot so they don't interfere with the light sources of the picture...
