Well it all really depends on whether TJ takes a shine to the concepts or not. The artwork, of course, varies from artist to artist, however TJ is the one who makes the final selections. The water walkers were completed for three months or so before they disappeared to be implemented. Some dragons are on the list for huge amounts of time (Years!) and some are on for only a few weeks. Once they disappear, it can take months before they get released on site. I completed my Betta dragons before the Pygmies, Stripes, or Water Walkers (Or whiptails, which I only helped with) but they're still on the "Completed list" not on the hidden list.

Ooh, my. This sounds complicated. However, I'd love to give it a try, since I'm always dabbling around with pixel art aside from serious stuff. Who would I contact about submitting an idea?

You will need to post your ideas and sprites [link] there. I'll tell you now, you'll likely have to make some edits to them before they're deemed acceptable, as there are numerous critics, but it's worth it. The end result is always stellar. Once you've gone through there, a mod will move your thread to the completed section and the waiting game begins.

Just waiting on TJ, now.

There is no defined mouth on them, that's the ridge of their muzzle. I'll play with them more, though this is about as good as they got... outlining didn't do much for them when I initially made the edits.
