I was checking out 's stuff, and I fell in love with her character Jenshi. So, this character is inspired a bit by him.

Konnar is a protector spirit(a red dragon protector spirit) who is supposed to protect this kid who gets picked on(and his frickin' filthy rich.. which doesn't have anything to do with anything). Konnar is really a nice guy, but the kid(currently dubbed 'What's-his-name') is still pretty scared of him. Well, he is a dragon, so I guess I'd be freaked out too. He looks pretty human, except he can grow long claws on his hands and spikes on his elbows. He can change into a dragon, but it seems painful, so he doesn't do it much.

I was just doodling between classes today, and I really like how some of these came out. What's-his-face looks really scared in the picture in the upper left corner, and it makes me laugh. I like how it looks. Originally, Konnar really did look like he was going to eat him, but I meant for him to just look happy, so this is inbetween.

Pay no attention to the lion/dragon thing in the middleish area. That has nothing to do with Konnar.
