Since I'm not a professional photomanipulator, please see this critique as a share of my thoughts on this.
I like the overall impact of this piece. It looks dramatic and real at first glance, also thanks to your wise selection of colors (or better said, the lack of those). The integration of the water looks convincing, the wet walls of the buildings and the highlights on the surface of the flow add to that impression.
But speaking about lighting: If one looks at the buildings, it seems obvious that the original photograph must have been taken in daylight. This is indicated by the harshly contrasted shadows on them. Alright, of course, those shadows could be caused by another lighthing bolt that's not visible... but I guess that this wasn't the idea here e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="
Let me say this as a conclusion: It's always difficult to judge a photomanipulation. As I see it, some think of manipulation as a style of art, where only the impression matters. Others care about a certain degree of realism in the details, even if the content is surreal. I'm part of those "others", so excuse me if I sound uber-picky in this critique. Darkness theme is usually real creative. The scene in a whole is pretty nice. I love the little details you added , like the light at the bottom and the detail in the water to the lightning on the top.One thing I seemed to notice is that for the rain it looks like you used a texture filter for that effect , I may be wrong and sorry if i am but it blends rather well indeed.Only thing I could possibly say to this piece is maybe a better enhancement of the depth of field and you got one really beautiful piece .

Najlepszy w twoich manipkach jest klimat. Nei wiem jak to robisz, że zawsze wychodzi on taki tajemniczy, ale spokojny. Bardziej mi się podobał ten wilkołak, bo tu nie ma jakiegoś głównego punktu zaczepienia, ale fajna praca
