Yes, it's the Aquila again. Arguably the most recognizable element (that is, assuming anyone but me and Chloe is familiar with the subject matter) of my Amaranth story.

She's been through a lot since I first dreamed up the idea for a gas-giant planet where people lived on floating asteroids and did all their trade and warfare through flying ships. Originally she was a Napoleonic-era ship-of-the-line with wings, completely wind-driven; then she became a WWI-era dreadnought with giant propellers; then a pseudo-futuristic battlecruiser; and now I've finally swung back to something approaching my original vision.

The design is heavily inspired by the Disney film Treasure Planet; oddly enough, I got the idea for skyships years before the movie was released.

Full version coming as soon as I can finish modeling the rigging and texturing the damn thing.
