There ARE gonna be playable undead, yeah. As a race, and with origins, and other stuff!
But! They're not in the early access yet, no. Which is terrible, because they have all the models for them and stuff - there are undead enemies of every variant, even lizards!But I guess they need to figure out their playable racial bonuses or somethin'.

Even without undead playable, there's still some interesting interaction with a few later into the Early Access, plus there's lots to do and plenty of fun to be had so far. Sitll totally worth it, especially since you'll get to play it as it's updated and new things are added.

Everything is for every age, not just a particular one. I don't get why people keeps saying that EVERYTHING is for kids. So if an Adult loves Transformers, then you'll automatically tell them that they are childish and a kid? Like what the hell man. I like Undertale because it's a nice game that shows you a life lesson on your actions. Music IS my life since I'm a Musician and that I listen to it EVERY single day. Without it, I'm practically nothing.
