I'm using Wacom Bamboo pen tablet (MTE 450 model), but I want to buy a new one (this one is almost 8 year! ). As for the program, it's Photoshop CS6. The sketchy lines that kinda imitate the real pencil are pencil PS brushes :3

thank you so much for the answer! 8 years is a long time for a tablet, it's amazing that it lasted so long!  some day i'll have to buy photoshop, the brushes and textures you can use in that program is amazing!
I use Paint tool SAI and it's really good, there's just a limited amount of brushes and i'm having a hard time making them myself
I love the sketchy lines, it's really something that draws me in and the way you've shaded and highlighted is perfect!

Yepp! Two days ago I got brand new Intuos Pro S and I'm more than happy now
If you want to imitate the traditional sketchy lines in SAI, use 'crayon' tool~

oh congrats on that! One of my friends had a tablet like that, she loved it!! Said it was one of the best tablet she ever had (not that she had that many xD)

I'll try that, i'm not sure how well it'll work but i'll definitely try it, thanks!

It's pretty awesome, yes. I had some issues withpen pressure, but reinstalling drivers helped :3
