Its goregeomous really, except the head is a bit too big for the body, it kind of looks like a bratz doll, but I think its really pretty and I love the colors (I suck at coloring my pictures

hmm... i wonder what happened to your more human proportions some times... oh well. the pose is a little static... i'm not being mean or anything by saying this but you do want critique correct? take it more so as friendly advice. if you ever need help on these kinds of things feel free to ask. my sketchbook is full of action poses that my brain simply refuses to submit to DA.
in other words. it cute!XD... i'm just as straighforward and blunt as always... aren't i?

well first tell me what style you aim for. a more muscle based realism anime like mine are or a more cutesy simplified style?

well. actually. i want it to still have a normal body. so yes. a muscle based realism as far as the body goes. but for everything else (hair, eyes, colors, face, etc.) i'm keepin it cutesy~

then i think i know the problem... this actually came in a revalation to me one day while riding in a car LOL no instructors needed. my art was sucking more because i was treating anime and art in general as 2D... when i started thinking the 3D level the muscles became much more easily placed and the bone structure as well. always treat art this way. my teacher says a drawing is 2D. incorrect. a piece of paper is made of atoms. which are round. carbon pencils are made of atoms. so in other words depending on life depth and shadows your making a dimension on a piece of paper. as for the anime stylization just treat it as you would a wind waker game. cute but still anime and 3D. hmmm... the crotch area also attracts clothing there usually with the way it is designed as well...LOL sorry for long and incomplete explanations.
