Been going through a real C @ W binge lately. Might have something to do with cosplaying RBC at the last few cons I vended at.
I think I like this one a bit better than the sketch I posted a few weeks ago. I'm also really digging the neon pastels too.
Anyways, expect more, I've got an itch that needs to be scratched!

Well this has been a pleasant surprise! This show as well as its BLACK spinoff have been darling shows and it's heartwarming to see art of this show. The friendship between these two cells is captured beautifully here; it's things like this that are wonderous to see in these times.
This is just too cute! Getting a show that's both entertaining and educational is a tricky tightrope to walk, but leave it to this franchise to offer fun, thrills, humor and just a sense of joy to behold. Very soft colors helps to sell the scene here. In closing really cute picture here

Before I start with my critique, let me say that I was immediately drawn towards your artwork because I know Cells at Work(despite not watching or reading anything on it) and that Red Blood Cell and White Blood Cell would make a great couple. In general, it was hard to find anything bad in your artwork but I will try to examine it carefully.
I know that in this drawing, I am already assured that this is most likely what happens in the show. They always meet in unexpected turns and they keep on seeing each other again, even when they were children. Which is probably the reason why in the anime category, it was also listed as romance due to the ship teasing. Good job on the vision, but I do have to note that it would be more interesting if you had some sort of an interesting concept to spice things up.
This artwork is very original and I can say this is the first time I heard of neon pastels before, but what I admire the most in your artwork was your technique.
First, even if I was bugged off by the lineart of Red Blood Cell's skin(which I expected to be something more of dark brown) it fitted for most of the piece and I see that you also have different colors for the lineart for her outfit and White's green tea. Your shading was good but I was wondering where the source of light is and the white highlights do make them pop. Even if this drawing is more cartoony and simplistic than most fanarts I'm used to, its still cool with me. Your
hands don't look awful and the eyes are not misplaced, you must have a lot of practice on that. I wondered how you managed to put a sense of perspective on the text of the boxes. Well done!
In general, I am glad you made a fanart of these two and you're art is well done.

The light source is coming from the upper left side in front of where the characters are standing, though there are a few places I can push the shadows and highlights to make that more pronounced. I also agree that the line work on RBC's skin could be a few shades darker as well.

I reckon the bloopers within an anime like this would be gold.
Especially with forgetting lines, sneezing, burping, farting and tripping over. Cells and Bacteria alike!
