Description I can't believe it's been almost two years since I made this. In fact, it was so long ago I don't even remember how I did it. Something with DA Muro, a walrus tusk and a traffic cone. I'm sure of it.

Anyway, now that Stage 1 is (finally) finished, it's up to you guys to decide what the first Mission Planet the girls go to is. Each of these four planets in the Torat Sector were being recorded by those dastardly cultists from the first story arc (for anyone who doesn't remember because it was two years ago, these cultists were going to drain Jinx of her astralnautic powers to summon their eldritch abomination buddy from Deep Space and then sell her to the Ogre organization). So while our heroes may not have the legal authority to stop the villains from committing their nefarious deeds on any of these worlds, their curiosity is at least compelling them to visit them.

Some advanced spoilers though: Each Mission storyline will be a few chapters long and take up the whole visit to that planet. Each planet has something major going on there that ties into the cultist plot that ties all of my stories in Flotation Device together. Every time a Mission storyline is completed, we'll restart the Stage process as the girls will be faced with new obstacles in between every Mission that they will need time to overcome, then they'll embark on another Mission until all 4 planets are finally completed.

So our first planet to visit will be one of these four:
Lathcairn is a junkyard world in the outlaw space of the Hanged Man System. It was a conicoid world before the ozmites conquered it, and since the humans swept in and liberated the sector its war-torn ruins have escalated into a graveyard for starships and a massive planetary landfill. Lately, our heroes already visited Lathcairn in Stage 1.2  to get parts to repair the Submarine with, but now the planet is littered with visitors and traffic around their gladiatorial arena, the Scrapyard. No doubt, the cultists want to subvert the festivities somehow, and it may be up to our heroes to infiltrate the contest for great justice, and maybe some prize money.
Toridia is a vacation paradise world in the Spheron System, and the focal point of Thriskoid influence in the Torat Sector. It's beachy and tropical, which makes it ideal for drawing in visitors from other species to be charmed by the locals. Who knows what the cultists are up to there, but given that the Thriskoids have a tense relationship with the beings of Deep Space, the planet may be important to that being they were trying to sacrifice Jinx to.
Phaya is a haunted world with a decaying orbit around The Fool. While still maintaining its last vestiges of wilderness, much of the planet is dying, and for whatever reason it is twisted by astralnautic phenomena. There are many dark tales about Phaya, and if the cultists can bring any of those rumors to life, it will definitely be worth investigating.
Hourglass is the centerpiece of human society in the Torat Sector. A glassed-desert world with pockets of civilized oasis in its craggy valleys, humanity has transformed its desolate reaches into a mining boom-world of the sector's wealthiest merchants and a thriving hub of the information trade throughout the Musketeer Galaxy. There are plenty of dastardly crimes the cultists could be involved in on Hourglass, so it's definitely worth visiting.

So leave your comments and we'll get the Hexenhammer's maiden voyage underway. If you have any suggestions on what the girls encounter while they're on the planet you vote for, detail whatever you want and I'll keep it in mind as we go forward. In addition to stopping the cultists, our core heroes (Jinx, Roxy, and Knox) will also get a sort-of "level up" with every Mission Planet they visit. Jinx will learn a new astralnautic spell, Roxy will obtain a new robotic minion, and Knox will get some sort of mechanical power-up. So if you have any ideas for any of these things, comment with your thoughts and I'll try to compromise them with my own.

I'm going to strike one for Toridia, because beach episode. Also, tropical beach adventures sounds like a perfect opportunity to toss in weird clashes with strange natives (maybe indigenous people living on islands or something, tricked into subservience by the cultists, later to turn to the side of good once they figure out they've been fooled), underwater beasties (tentacles are the obvious choice, but I'd be curious to see what kind of bizarre other aquatic animals you could come up with - giant enemy crabs? Sentient Portuguese man-o-wars with nonlethal aphrodisiac poisons and colonies of fluorescent birds living on it like an island, which sing with hypnotic tongues? Living coral reefs that crawl upside-down on the surface tension of the water like inverted water striders, and can shapeshift?), and ancient tiki statues with curses on them!

Basically I'm thinking a combination of "tropical island adventure" á la Monkey Island, mixed with beach episode/Hawaii episode from every anime and sitcom ever.

But that's just, like, my opinion, man.

I'll certainly try to involve at least one of those ideas!

Alright I got an idea for Phaya.  In most sci-fi I've read, late stage planetary life cycles tend to be mostly moss and algae. So, I think it would be fun if maybe the muggy, swamp-like atmosphere is unbearably hot and uncomfortable.   Then, have there be spores or maybe a deep space anomaly that makes the girls almost inebriated, combined with the heat makes them sort of out of it, uninhibited.

Basically this is all build up for a shtick of them complaining about the heat periodically, all while unconsciously slowly stripping off their clothes without realizing what they're doing.  Then, maybe even a chapter or two later, they realize they're naked.  Panic ensues.

At that point you could probably play with the inebriated angle, it'd be fun to see how each girl's personality changes once uninhibited.  Anyway tell me what you think!

That sounds perfectly doable.

Amazing!  Cannot wait to see your vision.  I like most of what you do and Flotation Device is your crown jewel IMO.  I'm sure however you work this angle it'll come out great, do your best!

Anytime.  Now while I've got your attention I've got an idea for a character named Merlon with stripping powers...
