Description
Important Note: I didn't come up with the Persesians. They were added to the Flotation Device setting by GreyBitter .Anyway, in the Flotation Device setting, all 11 planets of the solar system are inhabited by sentient life forms. In the case of Uranus, the native uranians have taken it upon themselves to genetically engineer a number of new sentient species based on some of their moons. Persesians, pictured here, were the first of these vassal species to be developed by the uranians, and are thus the most well-known by neighboring peoples. For the purposes of making sure GreyBitter's design and name worked within the context of the setting, Perses in this universe is actually Titania in real life. I figure Titania and Titan, a moon of Saturn, were too close together in name, and Titania is one of the largest of Uranus' moons, so I figured the name change would work just fine.
Anyway, before I begin: TL;DR, the persesians were designed by the uranians primarily as an efficient and cheap source of labor, but they quickly grew into a finer role as elite soldiers and powerhouse lizardfolk in space, who maintain a stereotype as the second most physically powerful biological sentients in the system (Zeusans are the first, and erisans don't count). They are perhaps the most mixed lot of the vassal species, and by 2121 they pursue many different careers and goals throughout the system. In fact, they have more contact with humans than even their creators do. Design-wise, they're basically just the Gorn from Star Trek mixed with Trandoshans from Star Wars. For those of you who like to read, here's the unabridged version:
Biology:
Persesians are the forcibly-evolved descendants of Perses Dragons; a domesticated velociraptor/komodo dragon fusion of a beast which was introduced to Perses during its early period of terraforming and colonization. Uranians chose Perses Dragons as the baseline creatures for their projects due to their intelligence and predatory cunning. During the experiments, uranians mixed in a wide variety of different mammalian genes to the creatures, partially to improve the animals, and partially for shits and giggles. Thanks to the magic of me not understanding science, eventually the uranians improved the lizards until they were basically humanoid reptiles, much like their creators. Modern persesians are somewhat similar to gaians and aphrodisians in their basic physiology. The key differences are that persesians are still cold-blooded reptiles, have scaly skin which they can shed when they need to, and they can regenerate from most injuries, given enough time, and as long as it isn't critical. Unlike their ancestors, however, Persesians don't smell with their tongues (they have noses now), and they give birth much like mammals. Persesians have belly buttons, humanoid reproductive organs, and females of the species even have mammaries (you can't blame me for this one. ha!). Persesians do not grow hair, but female persesians often have frills on the tops of their heads. Persesians are omnivores, though they maintain a carnivorous love for meat. They are considered one of the most powerful and physically imposing species in the solar system, and rare persesians are even capable of growing taller than a zeusan. They can naturally breath helium, ammonia, and oxygen, but like uranians, it is not at all rare for persesians to give themselves additional mutations.
Civilization:
Persesians didn't really come into their own until after the Uranian Concord had already been established for several decades. Many persesians are willing patriots of the Concord, but they hold the distinction of having more deserters from their homeworld and moons than any other vassal species. Persesian immigrants are often accepted into the hermesian governments, aphrodisian syndicates, the Gaian Consortium, the Aresian Technocracy, the Demeteran Hegemony, and the Zeus Confederation. So far, only the enemies of the uranians in the Centaur Conflicts refuse to accept them. Normally, though, persesians are still loyal to the Concord, and do whatever they can to help out their creators, especially in the war. Some bad eggs in the population work as mercenaries or pirates, however, and they are often considered the most outgoing, rambunctious, and disorderly of the vassal species. Perses is directly ruled by the Concord, but persesians still have voting power of their own to elect lunar representatives and throw their lot in with the uranians when electing their representatives in parliament.
Culture:
Persesians have the closest thing uranians have to a warrior culture. While not specifically designed for it, the persesians have so far earned great distinction as warriors within the ranks of the Concord armed forces and the trenches of the Centaur Conflicts. While they have only been around for less than a century, Persesians enjoy the idea of becoming a "proud warrior race" in the eyes of their peers, and indeed they have a lot going for them in that regard. They are stereotyped as not very bright, but they also have the excuse of being a very young and naive species. On the other hand, they commonly show great intrigue and cunning, especially in battle, and they have even been known to outwit their enemies on occasion. As one cronian officer stated after a battle with the uranians' elite shock troopers, "The martial prowess displayed by these abominations of nature might just be enough to turn the tide against us." A gaian quote about persesian warriors stated that they "are lizards that walk like men and fight like tigers." One CSF commander once said "Persesians are to the uranian military what Elites are to the Covenant... Brutes in Halo 3." Persesians are a mighty, but rambunctious race, and while they usually possess a great patriotic fervor for their Concord, their interaction with outside peoples has slowly been opening their eyes to greater possibilities and ideals. Only time will tell how the persesians continue to grow into the solar system.
That should be about it. If there's anything else GreyBitter wants me to add, I'll get it from him. Otherwise, I hope I captured them how he originally envisioned, and I must say I'm really happy with the outcome. I'll try to expand on them soon, and complete the other vassal species in the meantime. Enjoy and comment!
The following are all the other species I've made datasheets for so far:

This is perfect! I really love what you’ve done with the Persesians. I didn’t have many ideas about them when I first used them, just that they were lizard-people with some mammal features and they’d be more powerful than humans but kind of comically stupid at times. But you’ve done an incredible job of giving them depth and reality!
I really love how you’ve woven them into the Flotation Device universe along with their Uranian ‘creators’. As princebuffoon mentioned, the large differences in the male and female in your illustration are very interesting. I’m guessing all the random genes they’ve had thrown into their biology has left the Persesians with an unusually diverse set of body-types (with the different sub-species maybe taking on different rolls? I guess that would make sense if they were created as servants originally)

I'm really glad you like them. I didn't want to go too far from your original depiction of them, so I'm glad you approve.
Like I told PB, the male just goes to the gym more often. That and I have a hard time when it comes to drawing muscle girls or women above a specific mass, so the woman just sort of lingered into being a lean, amazonian lizard girl. It's a curse, I know. Still, I imagine they have the same biological variations, if not more variation, than most of the other species have. We'll see what different roles they all play once I come up with the other races. I imagine basiliskans being more snakelike and breathing underwater, and minosians being more stocky and numerous to serve as a more competent labor force after the persesians proved better warriors. I think at this point, the uranians idealized one subspecies to counter each of the enemy races in the Centaur Conflicts: persesians oppose cronians, basiliskans oppose poseidonians, and minosians oppose hadesians. We'll see how that works out, though, and you guys are always free to add your own spin on them, if you have your own ideas on what they should be like.

Lovely illustrations as always! And wow, that's some sexual dimorphism there - the guy is huge compared to the girl!

He just works out more. But thank you very much, I'm glad you like how they came out. Especially with the coloring job I lucked into, I think these are my favorite datasheet drawings yet.
