Unseen Fights Journal---Subject: Of Tigers and Panthers; Entry #15It's really odd to say that despite similar costumes or motifs, like either Batwomen or Spiderwomen...that the Black Panther and White Tiger mantles haven't fought per say, let alone being so close and personal, even the forums don't consider it a possible fight...but as I was tracing the path of the newest Black Panther, as T'Challa is rumored to be missing...it's clear that this new Panther, being Princess Shuri, was the target for being replaced, especially during the day of challenging her for the title...and due to the recent controversy such as again as her missing Brother or the scandal for another attack by Atlantis...to fight a Black Panther, there must be a White Tiger to challenge her worth. No Gadgets, no teams, and no witnesses aside from me, with permission from Wakanda and [Redacted]'s to show what would happen.
~Kiran V.
Among the shurbery and restful animals, and over a large body of lake down at the New York City Zoo, void of any zookeepers and such, stood a lone feminine figure, for Wakanda, she was Shuri, but to the rest of the world...she was the Black Panther, the Royal guardian of Wakanda, the peacemaker of the grasslands and jungle, and of course...most questionable target, as recently, due to some fabricated or ambigious scandals of T'Challa's disapperance after a battle against Namor ended in a flash of light, sending both royals into...somewhere, leading her to take the mantle of her lost brother, but it wasn't seen in good lights, whenever the movies or the attack by the Worm or Atlantean extremists, she was being hunted and insulted by the people across the world, believing she couldn't stack up to her brother and wanted to take the title from her by force.
Easier said than done when some often cheat or used underhanded tactics back in Wakanda...but this one was different, for it was specifically said to come to New York's zoo, but with no weapons or gears, just only her claws on her suit, one of the newest one she donned, being night-black, with the exception of the golden stripes and markings sharply curved around her chest and hips, while her thighs and forearms are wrapped in golden rings, her ankles doning golden wraps, her mask of golden archs to outline her feline-features, with white fur around her shoulders to boot, for she abandoned the fur on her back...to let a new kind of mane flow, for against the cold winds, her long brown hair, bright as Wakandan soil, all uncurled and untwisted say for a small ponytail, whipped against the wind as she looked around, stretching, flexing, anything to wait for the would-be challenging, until a rustling of branches interrupted her peace, whipping around to see...a cat-like figure dancing among the trees, thinking it could be either Catwoman or perhaps Black Cat, she whipped her arms out, revealing her sharp golden claws and shouted,
"SHOW YOURSELF, INTRUDER, IF YOU DARE TO FIGHT THE PRINCESS OF WAKANDA, THEN REVEAL YOUR INTENTIONS!" Shuri shouted, which was responded by a chuckle of a feminine voice
"Aw...that's cute, the princess trying to be a lioness...but you know there's no one here but us, Princess Panther."
eyes squinting to see the figure landing on all fours, but as this figure slowly walked towards the light, it began to lift up, revealing not a cat burgler or a clone...but in fact, another cat-themed heroine altogether, if looked side by side, one could think they were mirror clones, or parallel selves, but Shuri knew better who this girl was. To some, she was Ava Ayala...but tonight...clashing against the Black Panther...was the White Tiger.
Like their names suggest, contrasting to Shuri's own costume, Ava's was a clear white suit, donned with thick black stripes over her sides, thighs, shoulders, and two zig-zagged across her cheeks, along with thick black circles around her yellow eyes, glowing sharply as she walked towards the Female Black Panther, a contrast to the shining jade Tiger amulet on her chest, glowing with green energy.
S: "So....you were the so-called mysterious challenger...of all the people who could bring me here...it's the White Tiger...I'm impressed, able to catch me off guard. But, to challenge me, is to challenge a raging storm to a simple leaf."
Ava chuckled at Shuri's words
A: "Heh...please, if you were a raging storm, then why didn't you bring your little toys and guards here...afraid I'll trouce you up?"
Shuri growled as she and Ava began to circled each other, hands on their hips as they locked predatory eyes at each other.
S: "Hmph, I never need to use my gauntlets to put a little tigeress in her place, especially in her cage to challenge the Princess of Wakanda."
A: "Yeah, and I'm so terrified as the Warrior of New York...pretty sure it's time for the Panther to be overthrown by the superior white tigeress."
This may seem like a private fight...but it wasn't....every year or so, there is the one and a only life time opportunity to overthrow the current Black Panther, and it didn't stat it couldn't only happen in Wakanda only, therefore, Shuri couldn't back down from a challenge elsewhere, let alone from another heroine. Furthermore, it was one of ferocity and strength, so aside from herbs, spirits, and claws, any weapons and gadgets were banned from a challenge, same goes for brutal moves such as eye-gouging or ripping body parts off. But it got more deeper considering how Ava and Shuri just wanted to get their claws on each other's thick mane and to realize their...primal urges to just crawl, bite...and rip each other's clothes and hair off...and tonight was that very moment, as both Shuri and Ava slowly walked towards each other, their breasts pressing against her newest rival, and foreheads and noses rubbing into each other as they struggle to stare each other down. While I was over a nearby bridge...I could say that this was a good reason this fight was more personal than what detractors or supports of Wakanda would believe. After all...they only heard about each other through word of mouth, but yet not directly to each other...until this very night.
As Shuri and Ava began to rub foreheads, underneath their masks, their mouths grimaces into a smirk as they whispered one little exchange of "respect"
S: "You got spirit, White Tiger...so from woman to woman, before I trouce you like the little girl you are....let me say this, may the best Cat win."
A: "Right back at ya, you sure live up to your ferocity, but I'll be taking you down and out."
And with that, both delivered a blow to each other's stomach, causing them to leap back, and midair, unsheathed their claws, Ava's of black-night claws, Shuri of sun-gold claws, and got into a cat-like stance.
The fight of Panthers and Tigers...has begun.
THIS CATFIGHT IS ABOUT TO GET WILD!
LETS GET IT ON!
Death Battle: Battle at the Zoo (Score from the ScrewAttack Series) - YouTube .
Both Shuri and Ava both leapt at each other, raising their claws for the first attack, however Ava quickly threw a right swipe, trying to draw first blood, but Shuri quickly dodged it to deliver a knee strike, causing Ava to gasp as the White Tiger was sent flying towards a nearby bench, but Ava landed on the seat, using it as a platform to come with a flying kick at Shuri's chest, knocking the air out of Shuri with a loud "Yah!" as Shuri spun through the air, only catching the lamppost and spinning around, kicking a approaching Ava to the ground. However, Ava quickly recovered, just before Shuri leapt and tackle Ava into the ground, causing both feline-themed heroines to grapple and spin across the ground, trying to pin and pounce on her foe for a rightful beatdown, yet as one tried to claw into her foe, the other pushed back, yet the other pulled her in as they rolled down the Zoo's path, kicking up dirt and dust as they spun and spun, coming across nearby railings, overlooking a quiet lake.
(Picture shown) And among the clouds of dirt and dust, Shuri was thrown across the ground, her long brown locks shining against the now-pouncing Ava, each attempting to slice and slash away, yet for every scratch, the other dodged or moved away as hair and eyes shined against the murky lakes. However, Ava landed right on Shuri and finally grip her claws on Shuri's thick and heavy set of hair, smirking underneath her mask as she mounted on Shuri's chest, watching the Panther struggle to push her off.
"Aw...what's wrong, little Princess, never expect your opponent to manhandle you this rough? Too bad your little toys won't save you!"
However, Shuri only chuckled.
"Arrogance like that...is only asking me to handle you even rougher!"
And with that, Shuri managed to grip the spiky tips of Ava's thick ponytail, causing White Tiger to gasp in pain as her neck snapped back, leaving Ava to pull her hands up, leaving Shuri to use her other hand to grip on Ava's thigh, causing The Tigeress heroine to scream and fall back on her thick ponytail, causing Shuri to make some distance, looking over a down Ava with a taunting smirk, then with a little gesture, managed to run away, causing Ava to growl furiously as Ava knew Shuri wanted to give chase across the Zoo, so she did, each combatant dashing and leaping on all fours like competing predators to a common prey.
So I had to give chase, more easy said than done, as both Panther and Tiger leapt and dash through the abandoned zoo, waking up a few animals down the line per say, such the elephants, monkeys, zebras, birds...even the polar bears that a supposed "Punisher" had used to rid of the Ma Gucci from long ago, with their claws and enhanced speed being far off from what I could pace with. That said, I managed to keep up with them, right to a nearby empty pit, one that was home to either large predator cats, given the pieces of bones and tires of course, both hissing and growling in a supposed catball. This, my true believers, was the final stage of the trial. Whoever would win this would either be the new Black Panther, or have to submit to the current one's rule. While it seems unbelievable, it was the only way to see how such a untold fight would end, either by one dying by the other's claws...or perhaps something more is at play, as I saw their masks ripped at the ground, and a growl from the nearby caves...and then the first snowflake dropped to my nose. Rest assure it wasn't going to be a easy end to boot.
