A.K.A It's amazing how having wide eyes could let you see interesting crossovers/Rant regarding how some are scary if put into story context based on my past conversations.
And I tried doing this before, but the good crack one didn't seem like a full on interesting. Also this one seems a bit better.

Okay, so you all know crossovers, right? We all love those if they respect both sides of the series...which some haven't, but still, they are the stable and dreams of fans and pop culture...but what about the crossovers that make no sense at times, ones that seem so crazy...it just may work. Well, you get a "crack crossover" a crossover which makes little to no logical sense, but are a heck of a thriller to think about, although like that certain drug, there are ideas thanks to real life conversations that make it seem it could been horrible if it were to official happen.

Case in point, Two crack crossovers, The Boys vs. The Elite....and Ben 10 and Fire Emblem Fates.

Let's start off with the bad crack crossver....The Boys vs. The Elite...and their connections to some failed attempts at convincing a few certain artists(aka...self depreciation rant...I think)

In one corner, we have the Elite, froroup of extreme anti-heroes and a pastiche of "The Authority" who will kill on the first sign of trouble, and do so destroying wide scales of property and lives in the process, making them as bad as the villians or superheroes from Kingdom come, which resulted in butting heads with Superman. (came from the issue "What's so funny about truth, justice and the American way?")

and in the other corner, we have the Boys, the group of government sponsored cape busters whose job is to make sure rogue supes(nickname for superhumans) in line or else they received a beatdown with broken legs, a far echo to today's world, where sadly the definition of "hero" is arguing among the people, with some saying that heroism is "dead" due to "SJW" infestion of comic industry and Hollywood, very bad drama with people saying "Ohhhh.....Carol is actually a skrull and should be back to being ms. marvel and anyone who says otherwise is a (redacted)" and such that, and I couldn't help but anti-sjws are the "answer" to this problem, and there are evidence of rebellion in youtube(with really long titles) and such, and even in deviantart, where a few people who I found myself talking on these "sjw vs. anti sjw" topics with star wars, LGBTQ, Marvel, etc....which either had replies that I never expect or see...or in total failure.

Mostly with Antcow's old post and Mortal Shinobi, a friend of Godofwarlover, who also hated Korrasmi(not that I want to force it, I respect his opinion) which was a really one-sided conversation that show it DID not go as I expected due to lack of the right words and tons of support. www.deviantart.com/antcow/stat… . (Think like Captain America's infamous MYSPACE question from frontlines, and a full on regret for being in this situation on two fronts) Theres a LOT of things you could pick that I didn't plan ahead, but what really got me was two things, that despite this post being a bit...well, anti-LGBTQ, but it was actually, in antcow's own words:
"All I want is an end of hypocrisy, I want the LGBT held to their own standards. That's it."

Meaning all this talk was all but filler or nothing if only I asked for a direct question.(Another being "Just submit to avoid being called names?" Hey, real smooth if I wasn't embrassed enough when I look back.) But it also came from MortalShinobi not only saying "because it's not my taste and it's not something i fetishize, which you must admit, most who enjoy same sex stuff that's what it's all about, fetishizing it."(I'm not a diehard shipper, but I can tell this was NOT well said for my taste), but also saying that while he was a idealist once, he is now a realist
"i've considered characters like batman or spiderman to be naive through their idealism where ones like wolverine or venom are more practical in their approaches. that's how i see it, in the words of magneto, "I hope for the best but fear the worst". "

WOW. Just wow, while I can understand where you're coming from, but this is just saying and validating that despite I'm a bit realist at best, that saying batman and spiderman to be naive and wolverine and venom being right and that following Magneto, is JUST saying how uncomfortable I could be being a full time realist, I mean, while I do like the punisher at times....even I DON'T want to follow his advice, even if he is right as a realist, listening to him seems it could made even worse when I could see myself as that idiotic cop Martian Soap(except I could been better than that guy) trying to reason with Frank, except being responded with this line(which I can see Antcow or Shinobi saying this if they were heroes):
"The World you live in, the one full of words like civilization and rehabilitation and fair hearing and law and order--it's a lie, Soap. It works up right up to the point that it dosen't. After that there's me." (The less said about Frank's words about My Lai from the reasonably hated Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe...the better.)

It's no wonder why I can see Antcow as Billy Butcher(NO, not the Amazon one, that version's more sympathetic...no, I'm talking about the comics version:
-The One who would kill a group of handicapped super kids just because one said "f**king c**t" due to his Tourette Syndrome.
-The same one where Mallory, the SAME CIA agent who got Butcher into the Boys, said that his biggest crime was ACTUALLY giving Butcher a war, hurting people who he believes who hurt him...and that same guy who Butcher said he would bury him next to his granddaughters if he tried to talk to him.(Heck, even Hughie calls him out on it.)
-The same man who was willing to use explosive compound V to kill almost anyone who had a trace in it, even his own friends and allies, which he took out of the picture("With Great Powers comes the total f**kin' certainty that you're gonna turn into a c**t" (wow, real good future prediciting there, right there when he said that after he avenged Becky, his wife, that she hated him for what he had become.)

It's no wonder why I can't help but feel they could be DA's Boys group, but instead of taking down superheroes, it's "SJW" crap and "rigged" death battle or "evil" Disney Empires.

And as true as bloody and awesome this fight could be....it's the ENDING I'm worried, because honestly, what's there to take, if the Elite wins, America may end up being blazed up from the destruction of the Elite's reckless heroics, leading to the second dark ages...but if the Boys win...congrats! You just like a mad Butcher going to manipulate the government(if he manages to kill all his allies) to ban all heroes, comics and manga! Either way, it's going to end up like Darkseid vs. Thanos, except it's more brutal, gorey, members will get maimed, damaged and half the earth will be destroyed.

Honestly, that's a reason while I do respect the reason behind the Boys or Punisher...that I can't fully embrace their ideas let along be part of their dark and edgy world...I'm sorry, but I can't, even if I tried, fit into it, I don't want to see myself throwing me across a shatterproof window, or waterboarding others for their changed minds over small things...because saying I should is just asking for trouble for here and outside, because it's like Superdoom from Grant Morrison's run on Action comics, a light-hearted and pure idea gets grinded into a twisted and dark image that it becomes a part of an anti-thesis to what it should stand for...It's not my type or mindset to do so...I don't have that spirit of power.

BUT...Fire Emblem Fates and Ben 10...now that's a good crack crossover...well better than the outcome between GL vs. Ben 10

In one corner, we have Ben 10, a classic and respected series that started in Summer, where a boy with a powerful peace maker watch, storage to thousands of aliens, has grown from a immature kid to a mature but cocky kid who fought against the likes of Vilgax, Eon, and Maltrunt(neutral against the reboot), and sure it does have a few problems in it's sequel series, but it's been a blast watching the many aliens Ben could turn into and more.

And in the other, is Fire Emblem Fates, the installment where you either picked your country by blood of Hoshido, or the country where you were raised all your life of Nohr, or create a third path to peace by Valla(or join smash!), and okay, while I never played the game personally and not a big player on strategic, I do have a spot for picking sides in a situation like this, and sure, it has it's fair share of problems in story writing, but I do admit, I feel bad for Corrin or/and Kamui for being in the situation of picking between families, even if you don't know the other much but were nice to you(Is Relevations canon?.)

And like The Boys vs. Elite, this dosen't make much sense, suggesting how a show about a boy with a alien watch goes with a avatar who can turn into a water dragon...however, I do see very little connections and HUGE potential as a story, while The Elite vs. Boys is between modern anti-heroes vs. cape killers, Ben 10 vs. Fire Emblem Fates has:
-Transforming heroes(Ben's aliens and Corrin's dragon form)
-NRG(Ben 10) looks almost like a Faceless based on the bulk and such.
-Powerful peace makers that DO want to end conflicts, rather than escalate things(Yato and Omnitrix)
-Awesome songs(Ben 10 theme songs and Lost in Thoughts)

I could think this idea could be like "Five Years Later" The Danny Phantom and Ben 10 comic, a story involving two series of transforming heroes and perhaps a few cameos from other series or companies(for me, it would be Marvel and DC and few more I could think).

Honestly, I found this crack crossover to be a awesome idea that could lead to new redesigns and retellings on both series, and maybe Ben could be like Grandpa Max to Corrin and Kamui in teaching them to be heroes of their own dimension...what's more, this crossover would be open to a bunch of unexpected fights for aliens in the lands of Hoshido and Nohr

And honestly, since these series are know to have rewritings on fanfic, I could try my hand as they could help each other out:
-Ben 10 would gain new aliens that somehow blend in(or be mistaken for other legends) with Nohr, Hoshido, Valla or any of the iconic places from the Fates games, some aliens being foreshadowing to the omniverse series by some chance, and maybe Ben's modern ideas in a fantasy realm could be like Outbreak Company or Gates, with a mix of "Yankee in Connecticut" with his omnitrix and pop culture references, and he could make some supports with some of Corrin/Kamui's family and friends.

*I have the idea that Nohr and Hoshido and Valla should have more than just pegasus, drakes, kitsunes and wolfskins in their world.

-For Fire Emblem Fates, I could work on from other good fire emblem fates fanfic and make up my own version of it...like DC's Earth 1(as a parody), with a few redesigns and personalities(Like Peri) that could make this story fun and show some neat relationships between friends or rivals(although ships are left to the reader's guess; although I would see Caminoka as hard foe-yay between elder sisters), and that from Ben 10, The cast of Fates would later meet a few heroes from DC and Marvel(hey, we can all add in can we?)

Frankly, it's a win-win idea that feels like a vibrant superhero fantasy comic/manga, with colors that define pop culture, while tackling bit of our modern society with it and the villians added here.

I would put this in A03 if given the chance...but I would like to relish the idea that despite each series flaws and very contrasting differences in media and themes, that a realm-traveling, transforming, funny, but epic story of heroes and villians, redemption and honor, would grow out of this idea, and even with our world's problem, that this crack crossover, will put a smile on our faces in a healthy way as a good crack crossover should do.

So yeah, a BIG difference on what makes which crossover good or bad based on the story it could make, and I would rather than the good underdog if it means keeping my identity for what I do here, so yeah Antcow, I don't think I could ever be you, nor convince you to stop your anti-death battle or view on your status post, but thankfully, I don't want to stick to that, nor keep trying to sway you from stopping what you're doing, because I'm not Martian Soap from the Punisher, I'll take what I got and go my seperate way, but knowing that while I can't change what you're doing, I still got my own life and interests, as well as style of drawing, and frankly, I got my own projects to do, because I shouldn't just stand around and feel shame for what happen, I need to go on and do my projects....cause I have a few parting way ideas.

So yeah, a BIG difference on what makes which crossover good or bad based on the story it could make, and I would rather than the good underdog if it means keeping my identity for what I do here, so yeah Antcow, I don't think I could ever be you, nor convince you to stop your anti-death battle or view on your status post, but thankfully, I don't want to stick to that, nor keep trying to sway you from stopping what you're doing, because I'm not Martian Soap from the Punisher, I'll take what I got and go my seperate way, but knowing that while I can't change what you're doing, I still got my own life and interests, as well as style of drawing, and frankly, I got my own projects to do, because I shouldn't just stand around and feel shame for what happen, I need to go on and do my projects....cause I have a few parting way ideas.
