Prelude and Rundown: DVM: Episode 11-Ghost Spider vs. Batgirl

*Batgirl's costume is a combination of her first Rebirth costume, and her redesign by Murphy, and Spider-Gwen is inspired by her original costume and this redesign:

But the webbing in her mask is my own design choice, adds a little flare to it.

Story:
SOMEWHERE...in Burnside city....

The more "hip" neighborhood across the deary Gotham City, where instead of the darkness of terror, it's city lighted up like it's neighrboring city, New York City, not as bright, but with the many lights from the tech billboards to the neon signs, it was a sight during the many nights in Burnside city by it's people, as well for a fight hidden away in the blue skies of the night, as on one tower, stood the defender of Burnside, the girl who became the second sidekick and standalone fighter from the main Bat, the girlfriend of Nightwing...and creator of the Birds of Prey....the first modern batgirl, Barbara gordan. Barbara leaned on one knee over the ledge, looking over the many people in the bright lights of her city away from home, but today wasn't the day for criminals, no signs of any of her usual enemies or new ones, nor any help for her birds of prey, no, today, she was waiting for a personal fight, one that she's been itching to go at it for a while, as her wild red hair flowed like fire in the wind, and her cape, black on the side, but blue on the inside, flowed aside her, as suddenly, she heard a few footsteps, she knew who this person was....it was her opponent.

B: "Don't try to sneak up on me for the first strike, I know you're there."

She said, as she turned, and from the shadows of the night, slowly walking towards Batgirl, was her opponent, the myterious girl who was almost as hip as her, the girl who had some connections to Spider-man, the "counterpart" to her, the one who started this whole fight to her mind. The figure stopped a few feet, and there stood the heroine....Ghost Spider, one of the many "alternate" spider-people Peter said he meant, but he didn't say who this girl, but she knew that they had developed a....dislike for each other, made even worse by their more....interesting things they said about each other through social media in these times, which was nothing more than a sea of salt.

G: "Oh jeez, don't need to spoil my introduction, you know....but then again, I did expect a more foul mood from someone who's been infected with the PC virus."

Ghost-Spider snickered beneath her mask, and Batgirl gripped her hand as she turned, her hair and cape flowed back strongly against the wind, her eyes were starting to twitch in anger.

B: "Oh...going directly for a SJW infestation joke already? Well, I thought you could tried a little harder, but then again, I didn't really think you had a lot to insult me with thanks to all the trashfires from your homebase...and from what I saw you wrote about me from twitter."

Batgirl taunted as she planted her hands on her hips, giving off a smug smile, as Ghost Spider's eye maskes went for a furrowed face. "First off....you are NO permission to talk like that to me, admit it, you ginger-haired floozy, you started this whole problem in the first place by saying the Mary Janes were crap and were nothing but a rip off of the Black Canary for crying out loud!" Ghost-Spider taunted, yet still frowning under the mask that rivals her rival's frown, as slowly, both girls began to circle around each other, hands on their hips, and a lot of accusations being thrown ever since they started to fight over many topics before everything became so divided in the love of pop culture.

B: "Oh Please! you little spider minx, you were the one who made things worst by saying that you were better than me as the top teen heroine after I said you were nothing but a carbon copy of all the other spiderwomen before you! Admit it, you're nothing but a cardboard ghost of the real deal, and your taste for music is less flavorful than any of my enemies!"

G: "Oh Really? You ginger pansy, you kept going on and on about how your comics are so better than mine and keep rubbing it in on other Marvel fans as if DC's always been the best at every goddamn thing in the comic industry!"

B: "Hey, it's not my fault Marvel is getting flake for going all woke or all that crap in Disney or whatever, and hell, you're nothing more than just a copycat of me, only as a more hipster spider wannabe!"

Both girls gripped their hands tightly, knowing that their distaste had grown into hatred for each other, and that their frequent flame wars had build up their anticapation to meet each other up close.

G: "Oh well...I guess at least I got a best-animated movie....and you didn't even show up in Birds of Prey." Ghost-Spider responded with a nasty smile.

B: "Neon Tramp!"

G: "Hipster Hoe!"

Both teen heroines yelled out in rage, despite the loudness, it didn't catch the ears of any people on the streets due to the height of the building to the streets, and how quiet it is above the buildings, but both girls knew words wasn't going to settled the feud, as they compused themselves again and talked normally about the deal of the fight. "So, remeber the deal for the fight?" Said Batgirl, as she set up into a fighting stance, Ghost Spider followed as well. "Yeah, hand-to-hand combat throughout the city, winner gets to write something embrassing about the loser online....not that it will happened to me, I'm just the better hip heroine." Said Gwen as she and Barbara circled each other, hands up as they looked up and down each other's equally lean and strong bodies, searching for a weakspot and a glance at each other's costume up close.

Batgirl stood tall in a combination of her two rebirth costumes, both of her Burnside City costume and her newest redesign of her classic blue costume. Her top clothing has the style of her burnside color, with it's purple color and two zipper pockets, similar to the leather jacket of her Burnside costume, but was made of a mix of spandex and leather of sorts. Her pants were the color of grey like her latest redesign costume, but had two large black strips on the outside of her thighs down to her short boots, which had the top shape of a bat on the top of them. She also wore long gloves like her redesign costume had, with a mix of the Burnside City one, as well as a belt similar to her latest costume, with a bat-shaped buckle, with small pockets around it's hilt. She also wore her Burnside snap-on cape, with the outside being black as night, but the inside was bright blue like her redesign, and wore a black bat-shaped mask that covered the majority of her head....but was design to show off her firery ginger-orange hair, which flared like fire against the night sky and neon lights below as flowed in the wind and past her waist and belt.

Ghost-Spider stood strong against the equally feminine body of Batgirl with her own costume, which had a few modifications. While she kept the traditional white hoodie top and black pants with blue markings below her feet, she had a four black and four white markings on opposite sides of her costume, as well as a big black shape between the two triangular black shapes, to form half the picture of a spider, with the top black markings to be it's first four legs and white markings in below to be the other four legs, and had two pink fangs on the mouth of the Spider to show it's neon-like deadliness. She may have the neon pink pads below her arms with bright blue lights like her regular costume, but she also add that neon design to inside her hoodie as well, and that the white sharp markings down to her waist, in the black leggings were pink instead of white, she also had a pink bar around her neck, and that her white mask had pink webbing to the side of her white eyes on her mask along with the pink highlights around it, giving a much more brighter flare in the night with it's web-like design, but while her mask seems the same underneath the hood, she also had a suprise of sorts once it gets pulled off.

Both girls slowly moved a foot forward, trying to throw her opponent off, but it seems both weren't budging, so they said in unison. "Let's dance." Tonight, in the hip city of Burnside, in this time of bright lights but dark moments, two techo-savey teen heroines of both the Bat and Spider, shall fight throughout the night and city to see who would be the true Queen or Princess of the Modern Techo-loving heroines...with the loser suffering a major blow to her pride and shame for her family and friends.

Barbara and Gwen took no time but dashed towards each other, but once they were near each other's face, Batgirl threw a hard punch from the right, But Ghost Spider dodged it by a inch and went in for a left hook, but Batgirl managed to grab it with two hands and began to do a hard knee strike to Ghost-Spider's stomach again and again, Gwen gasps but then growls in anger as she pulls back her open hand and punches Barbara to the side again and again, Barbara yelps in anger, but went in one one final knee strike, then Gwen with one more punch that causes both to reel back in pain. Both heroines gasped for air, but as Batgirl tried to get up, Gwen smiles as she delivers a kick to Barbara's stomach, causing her to nearly trip back to the edge of the building, Gwen got up quickly and said, "Ha! What's wrong, Batgirl, didn't like that kick, well, guess after this, we may never kick again!" She said as she dashed towards her for a kick, but Barbara smiled as she looked down, slowly going for the belt for a rope. "Oh, I'll be kicking more often after this." She said as Gwen went for a flying kick...until Barbara jumped off the edge, Ghost-Spider was shocked and went in to see what Batgirl was looking down, only to seeing Batgirl to throw her hook around a nearby gargoyle, as she gave off a smug smile as she began to swing across the city, turning to stick her tongue out to Gwen, causing Ghost-Spider to get mad as she walked back and rushed towards the edge and jumped off the edge and shot up her web-shooters and began a chase througout the city.

(image shown) As Batgirl swung with agility and speed with her batrope lasso, managing to wrap around any parts of the ledges around her, she heard "TWIP!" sounds coming from behind, as Barbara looked back, she saw in shock, Ghost-Spider catching up to her with her own web shooters, swinging back and forth across the other buildings as she taunted. "Hey Batgirl, want to see how well I rock out my bod, let's see if you enjoy some..." She said as she swung at Batgirl mid-swing, raising her leg up for a kick to Batgirl. "Pumped up kicks!" She said, as she aimed her legs, knee bent at Batgirl, with one coming out to knock her into a nearby building, but Batgirl managed to push herself out of the way, Batgirl tried to throw a punch to Ghost-Spider's face, but her opponent dodged it, and returned with a flying punch, which missed Barbara's body as with Gwen's head was, both girls gritted their teeth as they continued to race each other across the city, where they cross paths as they swung webs and ropes, trying to knock her foe out of the sky from their swinging and grappling through kicks and punches, again and again, only a few successfull punches, strikes, kicks, and jabs across the face, stomach...and even breasts, which made each heroine more mad as they swung through the city, till both managed to attach their rope and web onto a nearby crane, both girls looked onto each other as they began to swing around each other, with Batgirl throwing out a few batarangs, and Ghost-Spider ready to fire her web-shooters as they began to twirl around and around closer, both began to throw their projectiles at each other, batarangs and web globs flew at each other, some were canceling out each other, and some passed and almost went to the heroines, but both manged to dodged it with agility and grace, and both were getting closer and closer, until the robes and web were stuck on....but Gwen knew what to do, as she slowly let go and leaped onto to the approaching Batgirl, tackling her mid-air as both fell throw the sky, but Barbara knew it was going to hard, as she tried to wrap her batrope around her opponent's neck, trying to choke her out into a early submission, but Gwen responded by using her own web to tried to choke Batgirl as well, both girls began to gasp and choke on to batrope till it swung to a nearby roof, where Batgirl knew this choking match wasn't going anywhere.

So, she let go, causing both heroines to losen their makeshift garrot wires, and kicked each other back to sepearate themselves from the strong graps of their disdainful foe, crashing onth the nearby roof, creating two bursts of smoke. Ghost-Spider got up slowly, as she smoothed her hand over her injured neck, but when she looked around, she saw Batgirl wasn't seen anywhere, only the darkness of the night. "Wha-What? Oh come on, really Bats, trying to hide from me like I did to you....I know you didn't go far, unless you admit you're nothing but a coward." She said with pride as she looked around, her wide eyes morphed into a smug look as she rocked her hips to taunt Batgirl, not knowing her foe was behind her, drawing out threw Batarangs as she whispered. "Oh....I'm no coward, Spider-Wannabee....I'm a tactician." She said, as she pulled back her throwing arm and threw the three batarangs, expecting Ghost-Spider to not noticed them like ghosts. But suddenly, a alarm came out in Gwen's mind....the spidey sense has taken effect. "Wait-huh?" She said, as she turned to see three approaching batarangs, but she smiled. "Gotcha." She said, as she jumped and dodged the threw Batarangs, which landed into the pavement roof, and fired three web shots as Batgirl dashed in, her wide cape and hair flared up as she dodged the three web globs, but when Batgirl tried to go in for a roundhouse kick, Ghost-Spider did a backflip to avoid it...and to fire webbing into Batgirl's face, blinding her vision as she struggled to pull it out, which she did, but was met with a dashing Ghost-Spider...coming in with a hard punch to the face.
