Star Butterfly vs. Quasar Caterpillar

(Look I know that while this may or may not be what you expected/wanted due to not being fully focused, but tbh, I did have enough determination to make it work, so please any abruptness or bumps).
What's more...I do need to hold some restraint in some areas so there won't be some horrible implications at best(so any critisims and comments can help)

Personal Notes: What follows was and will be a surreal mixture of cosmic magic and fantasy magic, and were shared by the two combatants of this story

Star Butterfly wasn't all too happy as she woke up in the wayward void, a hidden dimension multiverse scared to various kingdoms of the multiverse, suffering a major headache after that knockout mist, a harsh but necessary step to avoid the rifts and their magic being exposed. But Star didn't mind it all as soon she got up, surviving off magic for a while puts minor resistance to sleeping mist. The former princess of Mewni looked down on her body, checking out the curves and shape of her personal battle armor, it's gray and bluish hues, with the pink star on her chest and golden rims across her pointed shoulder pads contrasting to the bluish hues, yet they still shined in the void's mist, showing that despite the age she grown, it still got it. But as Star then wiped the dust off from her armor in grace, she looked into the distance, and saw a feminine stillhoute in the other side across the distance, and she suddenly knew why she was here again.

Princess Star Butterfly, Daughter of Queen Moon and King River, the underestimated girl from another dimension, was here for a trial by combat.

As her mind recalled, ever since her destruction of her homeworld's magic(and possible extinctions of several creatures by accident)...the rifts between universes started to shift and wrap a few years later, with the kingdom of Mewni coming to meet a long lost alternate dimension home to the empire of Ruehi, the home to a different species of Mewmans(or Ruemans as those inhabitants call themselves) and their alien inhabitants...and which Star learned, that her kingdom had very bad blood with back during the beginning of time. From what Star learn during her glimpses of history , that apprently, the Butterfly Family and Ruehi's royal family, the Caterpillar Family, had been feuding for centuries when they crossed dimensions and were as opposite as they can be, for while The royal family of Mewni were known for their smooth fair skin skin, the royal family of Ruehi are known for their soft brown skin, creating a sense of racial superiority of who was the better royal family, with the Butterfly family being known for their mystical magic, while the Caterpillar family were known for their cosmic magic, stirring up a rivalary between the men and women of each family, worse so for similar royals.

But it was the rivalaries between her mother's side that stirred her slight attention, because unlike the brawling fathers and men before them with weapons and one on one cockfights, the ladies in her mother's sides were more....vivid, as she got passages from her book about her great grandmothers that in their youth, battled against their counterparts from the empire not only through livid magic that lead to several galaxies destroyed or planets reshaped, but also through the art of catfighting and weaponry, as it stats that her ancestors would use their magic to enhanced their best form of weaponry to best her opponent by getting her to surredender or disarmed her, but they would suddenly give in to their womanly urges and expose their smooth bodies and breasts, and even majestic hairdos against each other, seeing who's the better queen at best, even to the point of making "hate-love" as Star can put it, in the middle of the battlefield, comparing and rubbing their womanhood to make her opponent submit through leaking herself. However, due to the amount of bloodshed and magical fights, the combined fields of magic could warp and easily destroy the two kingdoms if pushed too far by the more vivid and womanly natures of the Queen's magic attacks. Thus as the rifts broke apart, it was made by the two royal families, especially by Star's mother Moon Butterfly and her rival Phobos Caterpillar, that should their kingdoms meet again, that their children will battle in their names and representatives for their kingdom's pride and glory...for it was said that it will be...the LAST battle between the families.

As over the years, the battles between the families' women were all but fruitless draws, ended in brutal knockouts or worse, mutual deaths, leaving both women died and their husbands avenging them through small-scale but drawn out wars. It was more sacred so that Star the Underestimated, much to her own guilt later over those years, destroyed the source of all Mewni's magic in hopes for a more united kingdom between the Mewmans and monsters...but at the cost of losing her own magic and causing the mass extinction of several creatures, some were her best friends and summons, their lives lost when the realm of Mewni merged with earth. However, it also seemed that Ruehi also faced a similar event with it losing all it's own source of magic due to like her own kingdom, the genocides of aliens by their realm's mewmans, with their own princess doing the same thing Star did with her own mother and aunt, resulting in Ruehi merging with their version of earth...but due to it happening a few days apart, a hidden realm with a backup supply of magic from both Mewni and Ruehi started to generate it's magic again, creating rifts and merged the two kingdoms together...thus the final battle was foretold to happen at the end of the month.

...In the wayward void, a dimension surrounded by the warping purple darkness, with streaks and waves of red, white and blue mists trailing along side it, there were no landmarks, only shattered pieces of floating rocks of diverent biomes, some gray rocks aging with dust, some fresh with vines entagling them, and some surrounded by a watery mist or leaking with magma, ranging from the size of a desk to the size of a tectonic plate, such as the one she founded as she curiously looked around her surroundings as she descending through nearby steps of land, which was about as big as a basketball court. But what really caught her eyes were of portals, not the mirror-like ones she saw another version of herself, but of similar intense catfights as well, some engaging in swordfights with glowing weapons, some going all out in their hulking womanly bodies, two portals shown what looked like a saiyan and kryptonian exchanging knee strikes, and another show two look-alike girls, each with their own thick and massive manes ready to fight it out while speaking in espanol, the first language Marco spoke, each portals having various colors and auras around them...but then she stopped herself from full distraction as she focused on the descending stillhoute, making out a figure, like herself, in her early 20s, just like herself, then in a instant, she knew that it was time for the fight, as she pulled out her butterfly wand, a product for the rift's surreal sense of time to reverse some things to their prime, snf to teleport herself into the main island.

But as the portal opened over the island, she was meant by that same figure, where in comdical fashion, she and the figure yelped as they actually bumped heads...reeling them back into their side of the land, and after recovering, Star shook her head as she looked up, her eyes and her unknown opponent's eyes went wide as they took in a full glimpse of her alternate counterpart, realizing it was like looking into another mirror of a alternate dimension.

The girl in front of her may be of the same height and species, but she was completely different in many noticeable , as her counterpart had chocolate dark skin as supposed to her peach white skin, instead of heart-shaped marks on her cheeks, her counterpart had saturn-shaped marks, while Star still kept and wore her red devil horn headband, her counterpart wore a blue angel wing headdress with a gem at the center of it. Even their armor were different, despite being of similar styles, with her own sporting various shades of blue and a sharp-tipped skirt and neckguard with a pink star on her chest, along with her blue striped stockings, as well as wide and curved shoulder pads with her golden rims, her counterpart sporting various shades of purple but a oval-shaped skirt and flat neckguard with a green star on her chest, with similar purple striped stockings instead. However, what caught both girl's attention that they started to approach each other....was their majestic long hair.

Ever since their withdrawal from magic and the meeting of royals, both girls were lead into a series of training, a regiment to improve not only in the art of magic with the scarce remains of it or hand to hand combat, but also the history behind their feud and the importance of their growing womanhood, which stated that they should let their waist-length hair keep growing and growing over the next few weeks of training, washed using the finest shampoos and conditioners that their kingdoms could afford and have after the destruction of the first source of magic, resulting in their already thick and pretty manes grown into more thicker, longer, and shinier warrior manes, with her own sun-blonde locks shining against her rival's night-black curls with her own shine in the deep void, and upon inspection of her foe's mane trailing across her foe's ankles, both Princesses felt a tinge of envy, then jealousy, then of course, interest and curiosity, as with a step, both girls spoke out their first words.

"Star Butterfly, the Underestimated, Princess of Mewni"

"Quasar Caterpillar, the Underrated, Princess of Ruehi."

Both Princesses said their name with pride and boldness, both standing their ground as they locked their harden eyes to...try to make up some passive-aggressive banter.

SB-"So....you're bascially a alternate version of me...but you're like....a space girl?"

Quasar spaced out a bit at the question, then responded.

QC- "Yeah...yet...in a way, we're not....but I can surely see the similarties, with our armor and royalty...although my long chocolate brown hair and skin beats your vanilla white and lemon blonde hair anyday!"

Quasar said, trying to sound smug, but came off as hesitatant. Star responded back with a equally flimsy but strong comeback.

For all it's worth in preparing for ending this long time feud....both girls didn't held too much anger or spite to insult her foe, despite being in their 20s and fully trained.

Despite being young ladies, both could their pride as they slowly approached each other, their chests almost bumping as they both sighed and decide to cut to the chase with their "biggest" insult yet.

SB-"But...despite not knowing each other....I can say that between us....that YOU are the one who never deserves the blessings of magic from what you done to your own planet's species, you sci-fi floozy!"

QC-"Me? A villan? No...I can say YOU'RE the one who never deserve the power of magic, you fantasy hippy, you started the extinction of your own planet's species as well! I did it because it was the way to disable the traitors in the ranks!

(Picture above)Both girls frown firmly until they spat at each other's metal boots and shoved each other back...pulling their their respective weapons, Star's butterfly wand, which fused all three forms, and Quasar's magic bell, which fused it's golden and silver forms, both shining brightly as they aimed it at her counterpart.

Both girls locked eyes as they placed one hand on their hips, long manes blowing across the ground as they can smell the scent of rage from her foe across the short distance they have.

QC- "Hmm...That's a pretty cute wand...probably pretty good for a couple of magic tricks compared to a cosmic forged bell...I guess."

SB- "Cute? Maybe, but my wand will totally run your bell over...because mark my words, you will never use your dangerous magic again after this final battle."

With that, both wand and bell emitted their magical auras of pink and purple, ready to not bring back the lives lost from their exile of magic, but also to redeem their family names.

Both Star and Quasar fired their first respective beams, Star firing a beam of cupcakes, while Quasar firing a beam of muffins.

SB-"CUPCAKE BLAST!"

QC-"MUFFIN BEAM!"

Both girls screamed out as their respective beams collided up close, creating a explosion of pink and purple energy with cupcakes and muffins flying all around them in the process, however, Star was quick to fire more of her cupcake blast, attempting to knock Quasar off the island, however, Quasar was quick to jump out of the way as she rung her bell again to summon a barrage of spade-shaped knifes as she yelled out. "KNIFE SPADE BEAM!"

However, Star was caught near the barrage, sending her flying upwards, however, instead of mirroring her counterpart's move for move now, she swung her wand as she summoned the Black Widow Calamity Web to ensnare her Ruehi foe then another spell to built a rainbow bridge, creating wide distant for her as she dashed along the rainbow bridge, firing her Dagger heart blast from a higher ground, Quasar flew back from the impact, but not before she rung her bell to create a cosmic-like chain to pull herself towards another piece of land.

Both Caterpillar and Butterfly began exchanging beams and blasts of spades and hearts at each other, trying to shoot each other down as they leapt and run through the void, passing through nearby portals, however, both princess were about to make one giant leap at each other to the same island, Star was quick to fire another spell of her, shooting out a yellow beam surrounded by daisies.

SB-"STARDUST DAISY REVOLUTION!"

The Daisy ray sent the cosmic princess flying back, however, Star was quick to fire another magic spell in the form of a beam of strawberry-red energy.

SB-"STRAWBERRY ANNIHILATION!"

However, Quasar swung her bell as she fired back a blast of blueberry-blue energy as she yelled back.

QC-"BLUEBERRY DESTRUCTION!"

The blue blast caught Star off guard, sending her flying into the other side of the island, however, Quasar managed to conjure up a spell to create a cosmic bridge back upon the island, but before Star could use another spell, Quasar fired a purple beam of violets at her.

QC-"STARASH VIOLET REBELLION!"

However, Star dodged it out of the way as the beam blasted a nearby island into pieces.

Both Princess locked eyes, breathing heavily from the exchange of similar yet different magic spells, circling each other as they traded proper banter.

SB-"Whew...got to say, for a fiesty magical princess who looks like some sort of cheesy sci-fi movie....you got some pretty good magic skills."

QC-"Can say the same thing to you...for a giddy magical princess looking like a dusty fantasy film....you got some neat cool magic skills as well...but let's be frank, I'm bringing the home the win."

Star only smirked, but to Quasar's confusion.

SB-"Oh really? Well let's see who's got the better womanhood in their hair and magic...especially...weapons."

Star said, as with a wave of her wand, she manifested a huge mace down next to her, it's spikes protruding out of it's massive head, however Quasar smirked. "Cute mace...must been made cheap out of your forest magic like your shaggy hair...let me show you real weaponry." Quasar taunted as with a wave of her bell, she created a huge battle axe, it's blade glowing blue at it's head, Star giggled. "Oh....comparing our weapons huh...I do love another girl with weapons and magic like mine...but my mace will surely crush your axe." Star said, readying to summon another spell, and Quasar chuckled, "We'll see about that....AURORA FIST JAB!"

Aurora fired a large cosmic hand construct followed by streams of aurora lights, however Star fired back with her Rainbow fist punch, causing the two large hands to punch each other, creating a wide shockwave that shook the ground they stood on, however both hands evaporated as soon both girls reeled in, their rainbow and aurora light show could wait for another round as they began trading different spells to counteract her foe.*

SB- "Glittery Heart Slap Blast!"

QC-"Sugary Spade Pinch Beam!"

"Sparkle Lighting Blast!"

"Shining Fire Beam!"

"Glowworm Blast!"

"Firefly Beam!"

"SHOOTING STAR EXPLOSION!"

"FALLING COMET EXPLOSION!"

"ROLLING....THUNDER LIGHTING BLAST!"

"SPINNING...VOLCANIC FIRE BEAM!"

Both girls screamed, countering every spell of her foe with her own version, some spells overpowered one another, some cancelled each other out, leading them to come in closer and closer to the center...but slightly injured from the explosions made around them, and leaving major debris and destruction around them on the other floating islands, now smashed or damaged to pieces from the various projectiles...both girls knew that if only magic spells weren't cutting it....then they were going to bring out the bigger guns...or more likely....weapons AND magic summons.

Both princesses picked up their respective weapons from the ground and rose their other magic wands/bells up as they screamed out their newest spell.

"For Mother Moon....LIGHT SWORD....SPELL!"

"For Mother Phobos....PLASMA SWORD...SPELL!"

From those spells, formed their newest weapons yet...with the Star's wand manifesting a light yellow sword-like energy construct at the tip of it, while Quasar's bell manifested a dark blue sword-like energy construct at the bottom of the bell.

With mace or axe in one hand, and magic sword at another, both princeesess locked eyes once again as they raised their weapons up, not only to compare their warrior side...but also to show her domiance and skill as a warrior, as their marks on their cheeks changed from hearts and Saturn....into identitcal skulls...both were entering into the primal side of their Mewni and Ruehi heritage, and with a loud war cry, both charged in like raging buffaloes, ready to come in swinging...if not for the island they were fighting in to give in from the heavy damage of their magic spells....causing both Star and Quasar to fall down...into a stray portal....but not that it stopped them from still clashing their respective weapons at each other, long manes flying around like flags as they fell through the portal...for this battleground had a funny little way to make this trial into a little weird and wild adventure.

Funny how after a sci-fi based battle involving laser swords comes with a sci-fi fantasy swordplay and magic duel...but yeah, a lot to break down involving this special catfight, just to avoid any wrong accusations and rules(since Anime and Cartoons do have rules with fanart and such), as well as breaking a few things down on how I got this particular fight done:

For all your SVTFOE fans or casual viewers/watchers....yes, this DOES take place after a few years after the well-hated finale, and I made it clear that a mass extinction of possibly several species on Star and Quasar's planets, so I'm not pulling any punches for how bad it was executed(only good part was the song...I guess), so consider this a possible fix-fic, mixed with a retcon and fused with a reboot for this special fight.
Following case one, due to it being years after the finale, and to show my take on Star(as well as Quasar)...and to avoid accusation of you know what....I had to age Star and Quasar up to their 20s to not only match my artstyle...but also to show a sense of regret, shame, and honor both girls could show by then like as if they were age old warrior princesses(which they are suggesting the official world mixed with my own writing) , something most modern and past writers need to take note if they want...I guess. In other words, being in their 20s show Star and Quasar understood the devasation of their extermination of magic...and THIS trial by combat is a way to not only redeem themselves, but to bring lost life back, however, they might get a few unknown feelings sooner or later.
Unlike previous or future battles....Quasar Caterpillar, despite possibly being one of many alternate versions of Star Butterfly(that isn't shown in the Crystal Fields of Interwoven Continuum; from the episode MathMagic, which I searched up) not shown due to not being created then...but then was SHOWN in her debut episode of "Quasar and the Magic Bell"...unlike say Adventure Time's Fiona and Cake....Quasar Caterpillar dosen't have a lot to work from other than being a princess who used existing(but lack of known) magic rather than Star's own creative/on-the-fly spells like Star...but on the other hand, it means I could go wild on the little worldbuilding for Quasar's people and the types of zany magic Quasar could use as a sci-fi princess(with Quasar being a Ruehi rather than a Mewni, the royal families of Mewni and Ruehi being feuding families due to dimensional shifts, and that Quasar's magic spell does have very similar yet different spells that are parallels against Star's own arsenal).

Even their armor were different, despite being of similar styles, with her own sporting various shades of blue and a sharp-tipped skirt and neckguard with a pink star on her chest, along with her blue striped stockings, as well as wide and curved shoulder pads with her golden rims, her counterpart sporting various shades of purple but a oval-shaped skirt and flat neckguard with a green star on her chest, with similar purple striped stockings instead. However, what caught both girl's attention that they started to approach each other....was their majestic long hair.

Ever since their withdrawal from magic and the meeting of royals, both girls were lead into a series of training, a regiment to improve not only in the art of magic with the scarce remains of it or hand to hand combat, but also the history behind their feud and the importance of their growing womanhood, which stated that they should let their waist-length hair keep growing and growing over the next few weeks of training, washed using the finest shampoos and conditioners that their kingdoms could afford and have after the destruction of the first source of magic, resulting in their already thick and pretty manes grown into more thicker, longer, and shinier warrior manes, with her own sun-blonde locks shining against her rival's night-black curls with her own shine in the deep void, and upon inspection of her foe's mane trailing across her foe's ankles, both Princesses felt a tinge of envy, then jealousy, then of course, interest and curiosity, as with a step, both girls spoke out their first words.

"Star Butterfly, the Underestimated, Princess of Mewni"

"Quasar Caterpillar, the Underrated, Princess of Ruehi."

Both Princesses said their name with pride and boldness, both standing their ground as they locked their harden eyes to...try to make up some passive-aggressive banter.

SB-"So....you're bascially a alternate version of me...but you're like....a space girl?"

Quasar spaced out a bit at the question, then responded.

QC- "Yeah...yet...in a way, we're not....but I can surely see the similarties, with our armor and royalty...although my long chocolate brown hair and skin beats your vanilla white and lemon blonde hair anyday!"

Quasar said, trying to sound smug, but came off as hesitatant. Star responded back with a equally flimsy but strong comeback.

For all it's worth in preparing for ending this long time feud....both girls didn't held too much anger or spite to insult her foe, despite being in their 20s and fully trained.

Despite being young ladies, both could their pride as they slowly approached each other, their chests almost bumping as they both sighed and decide to cut to the chase with their "biggest" insult yet.

SB-"But...despite not knowing each other....I can say that between us....that YOU are the one who never deserves the blessings of magic from what you done to your own planet's species, you sci-fi floozy!"

QC-"Me? A villan? No...I can say YOU'RE the one who never deserve the power of magic, you fantasy hippy, you started the extinction of your own planet's species as well! I did it because it was the way to disable the traitors in the ranks!

(Picture above)Both girls frown firmly until they spat at each other's metal boots and shoved each other back...pulling their their respective weapons, Star's butterfly wand, which fused all three forms, and Quasar's magic bell, which fused it's golden and silver forms, both shining brightly as they aimed it at her counterpart.

Both girls locked eyes as they placed one hand on their hips, long manes blowing across the ground as they can smell the scent of rage from her foe across the short distance they have.

QC- "Hmm...That's a pretty cute wand...probably pretty good for a couple of magic tricks compared to a cosmic forged bell...I guess."

SB- "Cute? Maybe, but my wand will totally run your bell over...because mark my words, you will never use your dangerous magic again after this final battle."

With that, both wand and bell emitted their magical auras of pink and purple, ready to not bring back the lives lost from their exile of magic, but also to redeem their family names.

Both Star and Quasar fired their first respective beams, Star firing a beam of cupcakes, while Quasar firing a beam of muffins.

SB-"CUPCAKE BLAST!"

QC-"MUFFIN BEAM!"

Both girls screamed out as their respective beams collided up close, creating a explosion of pink and purple energy with cupcakes and muffins flying all around them in the process, however, Star was quick to fire more of her cupcake blast, attempting to knock Quasar off the island, however, Quasar was quick to jump out of the way as she rung her bell again to summon a barrage of spade-shaped knifes as she yelled out. "KNIFE SPADE BEAM!"

However, Star was caught near the barrage, sending her flying upwards, however, instead of mirroring her counterpart's move for move now, she swung her wand as she summoned the Black Widow Calamity Web to ensnare her Ruehi foe then another spell to built a rainbow bridge, creating wide distant for her as she dashed along the rainbow bridge, firing her Dagger heart blast from a higher ground, Quasar flew back from the impact, but not before she rung her bell to create a cosmic-like chain to pull herself towards another piece of land.

Both Caterpillar and Butterfly began exchanging beams and blasts of spades and hearts at each other, trying to shoot each other down as they leapt and run through the void, passing through nearby portals, however, both princess were about to make one giant leap at each other to the same island, Star was quick to fire another spell of her, shooting out a yellow beam surrounded by daisies.

SB-"STARDUST DAISY REVOLUTION!"

The Daisy ray sent the cosmic princess flying back, however, Star was quick to fire another magic spell in the form of a beam of strawberry-red energy.

SB-"STRAWBERRY ANNIHILATION!"

However, Quasar swung her bell as she fired back a blast of blueberry-blue energy as she yelled back.

QC-"BLUEBERRY DESTRUCTION!"

The blue blast caught Star off guard, sending her flying into the other side of the island, however, Quasar managed to conjure up a spell to create a cosmic bridge back upon the island, but before Star could use another spell, Quasar fired a purple beam of violets at her.

QC-"STARASH VIOLET REBELLION!"

However, Star dodged it out of the way as the beam blasted a nearby island into pieces.

Both Princess locked eyes, breathing heavily from the exchange of similar yet different magic spells, circling each other as they traded proper banter.

SB-"Whew...got to say, for a fiesty magical princess who looks like some sort of cheesy sci-fi movie....you got some pretty good magic skills."

QC-"Can say the same thing to you...for a giddy magical princess looking like a dusty fantasy film....you got some neat cool magic skills as well...but let's be frank, I'm bringing the home the win."

Star only smirked, but to Quasar's confusion.

SB-"Oh really? Well let's see who's got the better womanhood in their hair and magic...especially...weapons."

Star said, as with a wave of her wand, she manifested a huge mace down next to her, it's spikes protruding out of it's massive head, however Quasar smirked. "Cute mace...must been made cheap out of your forest magic like your shaggy hair...let me show you real weaponry." Quasar taunted as with a wave of her bell, she created a huge battle axe, it's blade glowing blue at it's head, Star giggled. "Oh....comparing our weapons huh...I do love another girl with weapons and magic like mine...but my mace will surely crush your axe." Star said, readying to summon another spell, and Quasar chuckled, "We'll see about that....AURORA FIST JAB!"

Aurora fired a large cosmic hand construct followed by streams of aurora lights, however Star fired back with her Rainbow fist punch, causing the two large hands to punch each other, creating a wide shockwave that shook the ground they stood on, however both hands evaporated as soon both girls reeled in, their rainbow and aurora light show could wait for another round as they began trading different spells to counteract her foe.*

SB- "Glittery Heart Slap Blast!"

QC-"Sugary Spade Pinch Beam!"

"Sparkle Lighting Blast!"

"Shining Fire Beam!"

"Glowworm Blast!"

"Firefly Beam!"

"SHOOTING STAR EXPLOSION!"

"FALLING COMET EXPLOSION!"

"ROLLING....THUNDER LIGHTING BLAST!"

"SPINNING...VOLCANIC FIRE BEAM!"

Both girls screamed, countering every spell of her foe with her own version, some spells overpowered one another, some cancelled each other out, leading them to come in closer and closer to the center...but slightly injured from the explosions made around them, and leaving major debris and destruction around them on the other floating islands, now smashed or damaged to pieces from the various projectiles...both girls knew that if only magic spells weren't cutting it....then they were going to bring out the bigger guns...or more likely....weapons AND magic summons.

Both princesses picked up their respective weapons from the ground and rose their other magic wands/bells up as they screamed out their newest spell.

"For Mother Moon....LIGHT SWORD....SPELL!"

"For Mother Phobos....PLASMA SWORD...SPELL!"

From those spells, formed their newest weapons yet...with the Star's wand manifesting a light yellow sword-like energy construct at the tip of it, while Quasar's bell manifested a dark blue sword-like energy construct at the bottom of the bell.

With mace or axe in one hand, and magic sword at another, both princeesess locked eyes once again as they raised their weapons up, not only to compare their warrior side...but also to show her domiance and skill as a warrior, as their marks on their cheeks changed from hearts and Saturn....into identitcal skulls...both were entering into the primal side of their Mewni and Ruehi heritage, and with a loud war cry, both charged in like raging buffaloes, ready to come in swinging...if not for the island they were fighting in to give in from the heavy damage of their magic spells....causing both Star and Quasar to fall down...into a stray portal....but not that it stopped them from still clashing their respective weapons at each other, long manes flying around like flags as they fell through the portal...for this battleground had a funny little way to make this trial into a little weird and wild adventure.

Funny how after a sci-fi based battle involving laser swords comes with a sci-fi fantasy swordplay and magic duel...but yeah, a lot to break down involving this special catfight, just to avoid any wrong accusations and rules(since Anime and Cartoons do have rules with fanart and such), as well as breaking a few things down on how I got this particular fight done:

For all your SVTFOE fans or casual viewers/watchers....yes, this DOES take place after a few years after the well-hated finale, and I made it clear that a mass extinction of possibly several species on Star and Quasar's planets, so I'm not pulling any punches for how bad it was executed(only good part was the song...I guess), so consider this a possible fix-fic, mixed with a retcon and fused with a reboot for this special fight.
Following case one, due to it being years after the finale, and to show my take on Star(as well as Quasar)...and to avoid accusation of you know what....I had to age Star and Quasar up to their 20s to not only match my artstyle...but also to show a sense of regret, shame, and honor both girls could show by then like as if they were age old warrior princesses(which they are suggesting the official world mixed with my own writing) , something most modern and past writers need to take note if they want...I guess. In other words, being in their 20s show Star and Quasar understood the devasation of their extermination of magic...and THIS trial by combat is a way to not only redeem themselves, but to bring lost life back, however, they might get a few unknown feelings sooner or later.
Unlike previous or future battles....Quasar Caterpillar, despite possibly being one of many alternate versions of Star Butterfly(that isn't shown in the Crystal Fields of Interwoven Continuum; from the episode MathMagic, which I searched up) not shown due to not being created then...but then was SHOWN in her debut episode of "Quasar and the Magic Bell"...unlike say Adventure Time's Fiona and Cake....Quasar Caterpillar dosen't have a lot to work from other than being a princess who used existing(but lack of known) magic rather than Star's own creative/on-the-fly spells like Star...but on the other hand, it means I could go wild on the little worldbuilding for Quasar's people and the types of zany magic Quasar could use as a sci-fi princess(with Quasar being a Ruehi rather than a Mewni, the royal families of Mewni and Ruehi being feuding families due to dimensional shifts, and that Quasar's magic spell does have very similar yet different spells that are parallels against Star's own arsenal).
