As both ladies were holding onto each other's hands, trying to crush her foe's hands so she herself could try to push her foe back, both could feel her rival's muscles rubbing against her own, especially their bellies and thighs, and despite being in a fingerlock, both could feel the tense strength in her rival's arms, strong as heavy tree trunks against her own arms as they spun around, flaying their locked hands up and down around each other as they stared into each other's eyes, trying to break her foe's concentration as they engaged in this test, both gritted their teeth like civil war soldiers as they kept pressing their breasts and bodies into each other, trying to push her foe down, but it seems that both were really, really EQUALLY matched, as both had been working out for a while to keep their muscles as sharp and strong as ever and bodies as womanly as they needed, which caused them to snarled even more as the boiling blood coursed through their bodies as their adrenaline rises up to boost her fighting spirit, till Rogue got an idea as she bend her right knee and began to knee Carol to the side and stomach, slamming her knee again and again, but Carol wasn't flinched as she too began to knee Rogue with her left knee, also to the side and stomach, both ladies knee each other again and again till as they pulled their knees back to slammed her foe away, with Rogue breaking the test by kneeing Carol down to the jungles below, Rogue smiled.

"Hmph...Still the same blondie as you were, guess you were just bragging after all this time.....still, it's a shame for all that change leads to nothing." She smiled, but felt a bit sad as she saw the trees falling down, then she swooped in, fists ready to punch Carol out.

As Carol fell back to the savage land, it seems Rogue's knee attack had send her crashing into the ground then flying into several trees, creating a small pathway from the arena they were both in to whatever the island had in store, hoping she dosen't run into any native tribes, but she could sense Rogue flying in the pathway she made as she was rolling up and down from the knee strike, but as her back smashed into a tree, a idea strucked Carol, as when she saw Rogue flying in, she turned to grab the tree, which was as big as a truck and held it tightly as she turned to bat Rogue, which caught the Southern Mutant by suprise as it came from the side, slamming into Rogue to send her flying into another direction, crashing into other trees and sending smaller dinosaurs scurrying away, which Carol smiled.

"Huh....guess she seems to be losing her edge....why do I feel this wouldn't fix...no." Said Carol as she thought, even though she didn't forgive Rogue, she couldn't help but feel after her mirror match against her old self and perhaps the fight with Monica, that her ideas to redeem hersefl by fighting Rogue would be worth it, Rogue did save her with Spider woman, but...she still put her into a coma, and she had to vent this loose end out, and she needed to get back as Carol with the large tree in her arms, flew at Rogue, who created a large crater near a large tree, and got up and wiped the dirt off...and then she sensed Carol flying in with that large tree, Rogue then turned to see the large tree behind her and back...then she had an idea as she turned and with all her might, she pulled out the large and before Carol swung it down, which the large tree was blocked by Rogue's own tree, which shocked Carol as she moved back to see Rogue floating up to her level, with a large tree the same size as her, smiling as she turned and tried to slam the tree on Carol, but Carol reacted and blocked it, then they began a sword(tree) fight as they bashed their tree weapons at her foe's weapon, trying to break her foe's guard before slamming it on her as they floating around the jungles, swatting and smashing nearby trees as they tried to fight her foe's massive weapon, but even if they were large trees, as they slam harder and harder and they floating near the tree tops, the weapons started to shatter and crack, small branches fall out as they keep repeatly slammed it, till they moved back and pulled back the trees for one more slash, but as the large trees collided....SMASH!!! little bits of wood and dust exploded, leaving nothing more than the stumps in their hands, with all the debris falling back and several birds flying out, both ladies realized her foe WAS really that strong, Carol growled, then she thought of how to turn the fight to her, as she shouted to Rogue.

"Hey Darling, CATCH THIS!" She yelled as she threw her broken stump at Rogue, which Rogue reacted by throwing hers, the stumps crashed and exploded into wood chips and bits, but from the debris, Rogue saw a faint light...then it grew brighter, Rogue realized too late until Carol fired her photon beams, blasting them at powerful levels that made Rogue moaned with pain and send her flying away from her, and into a nearby battle arena. Carol swooped in to catch up with Rogue, who landed near to the more wide-open and diverse areanas...the one filled with herbivore dinosaurs, as Rogue got up to see Ankolosaurs, Triceratops, and other herbivores(not any carnivores so far) roaming around her, but it seems that her impact had scared some of them to run away, "Dah, how do the managers here get those damn dinos without any stampedes." She wondered, as this arena allowed live beasts to enter, regardless of what food they ate, well it was no time to ask that as she turned to see Carol firing a barrage of photon blasts at her, which Rogue then proceed to fly out and began to fly across the field arena, with the photon blasts and Rogue's flying causing the dinosaurs to screeched and run away quickly, and Rogue had to dodge a charging triceratops or anxious parasaurolophus here and there, as well as Carol, who was on equal level as her as they flew over the grass, even as fighters, this field still paid respect to the dinosaurs, and both ladies knew they had to as well, otherwise it would created a bloody mess. But then Carol then moved her hands together and raised them up to fire a mega blast at Rogue, knocking her out to the ground, causing her to roll and roll, till Carol caught Rogue by her southern mane and began to laid the beatdown by punching her again and again as they skidded to the ground and dinosaurs were rushing to the jungles, again and again, she delivered a furious blow after another, Rogue could feel the intense anger in Carol's fist as she got punched, but Rogue snarled in her mind, "No way would I let this damn hussy take me down, because I know how it ends." She thought as she looked up, with one side bruised as Carol pulled back a photon enhanced fist and went for the blow, Rogue managed to catch it, but Carol smiled as Rogue saw her glove burning from Carol's photon energy, but Rogue slowly smiled, which confused Carol, until she realized why as Carol felt a surge of her power drained up from her hand, then Rogue bit her other glove off so she could move it in front of her face. "N-No!" She cried, as Rogue began to absorb some of Carol's power, as Rogue smirked. "Still the same hothead, huh Carol, I don't even need Wonder woman's or wonder man's power to take you OUT!" She said, however, Carol remembered a promise she made before the fight, one she knew the real Carol would never back away.

"Remember, NEVER EVER let Rogue eat you up, use your photon energy against her." She told herself, then she smiled. "Hey, Anne, had you seen a flash bomb go off face first?" She said, Rogue was now confused. "Maybe...wh-"

"Because OF THIS, WOMAN!" She said as her eyes started to glow bright and shot out a burst of light that blinded Rogue, causing the Southern Belle to kick the Northern Marvel away, as both ladies got up, both spat out a mix of saliva and blood and smirked.

C-"Huh....I guess for a Southern Belle, you still got your skills even to this day, and great way to trick me as well."

R-"I could say the same damn thing to you, sugah Carol, cuz it seems you're living up to your changes....it's too bad I'll always eat you." Rogue said, as her hands light up with Sunfire's plasma energy. Carol then lighted up her hands as both ladies then flew up and back to began another round as Carol and Rogue began to race each other across the island, and thanks to Rogue's hidden plasma beams, she began to fire at Carol, and Carol back, engaging in a dogfight as the two marvelous harpies tried to blast each other with a barrage of bolts and blasts, only for her foe to dodge it as quickly as her due to their extra senses.

Dinosaurs roared at the sight of the two marvels blasting each other, explosions of smoke engulfed the sky as the ladies tried as best as they could, although as the smoke increases, Rogue decide to have a different change of plans, one where she could get back, as she got her hands together and began to hold it up as Carol went in for the attack, till Rogue fired a large photon blast, with her two hands flat, however, this plan backfired as she saw Carol tanking her beam as if it was Superman with the sun, Rogue tried to increase the power, but she realized that Sunfire's energy couldn't be used to increase power, just made it hotter, but then another idea struck as she saw Carol coming in and deliver a hard blow to Rogue's face then stomach, and both ladies engage in a exchanges of punches and kicks, so fast that several soundwaves broke as they fought through the air, until Rogue managed to grab Carol's shoulder and began to absorb some more energy, but Carol decide to go for a headbutt, trying to get Rogue off her, but Rogue returned with a stronger headbutt, leaving Carol dazed as Rogue then spun around and threw her into another battle arena, and it was so far and so powerful, it created a crater. (picture above) Rogue smiled as she saw Carol coughing up dirt and laying on the ground as she grabbed a fistful of her Northern hair and then grabbed her crotch as she raised her over her thick Southern hair as she heard Carol gasping and yelping, which Rogue replied with. "You know darling, I always wondered between the two of us, who's the better representative of our country...and frankly...I feel that the SOUTH WON!" Rogue thought as she slammed Carol onto her bend knee, causing Carol to scream as Rogue smiled with confidence then she began to push Carol's chin and thigh down, making her spine bend further and further, till she saw Carol's eyes closed and her hands stop moving, then she pushed Carol off her knee as she stood over here..."Well nah, I guess the South got the Last Laugh, huh, guess you would always be behind me." She said as she turned, hoping to fly off back home before Carol wakes up, but as suddenly, she felt a disturbance of heat coming from behind her, and as she turned, she saw Carol slowly getting up, but Rogue was sure Carol was going to fall as she got into a fighting position, but she saw Carol crossing her arms and raised her voice of "aaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh….." as the ground started to shake and dinosaurs of all walks of life starting to run away from their battle arena habitat, Rogue then realized the horror as Carol's eyes became blank and she erupted in flames of photon, sending Rogue skidding back and blocking the view till she saw after opening her eyes...was Carol, engulfed in yellow photon energy, and hair and hands glowing in the flames of photons, and eyes sharp as daggers. Rogue was shocked.

It was Carol's binary form.

C-"This is it, Rogue, THIS will be the TRUE final battle, my binary form against your fake binary form, no death, no pulling back, just me AND you!"

Rogue however, stood her ground

R-"It's on, Sister, I don't need your weak Photon energy as my fuel supply, because frankly my dear...I have a little counter-solution to your binary mode."

Rogue said as she did a similar position to Carol, but she slammed her fists together as she said. "Wonder man! SunFlame! Combine!" She said, as she realized a blinding explosion that send Carol skidding back, and when Carol opened her eyes to see what Rogue did...to her suprise, it was Rogue, who was erupted in a mixture of Ionic and Plasma flames, her hair shining in the combine energies and hands, one glowing with purple, and the other red, and her eyes were as sharp as knives. Carol was shocked and was strangely, impressed.

Rogue didn't need Carol's photons to block binary mode...she needed the powers of both Wonder man and Sunflame. As both women set up fighting positions, both smiled and knew this was just the start of round 2.

Both: "TIME.TO.END.THIS!"

Both ladies then flew at each other, and pulled their fists back to punch each other, creating a shockwave that shattered the earth beneath them, then they went into a light show as both ladies got into a punch-fest, only time will tell who's the victor.

*To have or not to have: Idea belongs to Darknight241, that Rogue, despite losing power from sunfire, still has a bit of it inside of her, and that her modern day version has wonder man's power, although the other idea was that her costume changed into that hero's color(red and yellow for sunfire, ex) and now that I think about it, the idea of her combing the powers of Wonder man and Sunflame could be a foil/counterpart to Carol's Binary form....so yeah, sorry fans, no seeing Carol getting to be eaten by Rogue for powers.
