Yes there was a time in which Stan Lee did more or less his self forming a superhero team called the mighty 7(Stan Lee's Mighty 7 (Promo) - Hub Network - YouTube ), it was a weird thing to say the least with unresolved sequels and what not, although using Stan the Man even as a crossover universe seems a bit tad.....not so stellar regardless of how one truly sees Stan and his relationship with Kirby.

So this idea more or less explores a different take, namely to avoid well copyright or something like that, using Kirby's less than subtle expy of his partner Stan Lee, or as the DC Universe puts it, "Funky Flashman" yes that was a thing, going from Mr. Miracle, into forming his own super team, namely Flashman's Mighty 7....although they also go by Cosmic Crusaders to sound more catchy(although that said, despite the same members, CC has more....wtf moments: Stan Lee's Cosmic Crusaders | EP.1 | They Came. They Saw. They Had to Leave | Cartoon Hangover - YouTube ).
Basically the DrawVerse's take on the Mighty 7 would for better or worse have the same events, albeit instead of Stan Lee, it's again his expy Funky Flashman (Again why else is he saying Excelsior and looks like a younger Lee there). Although knowing his status it could be likely unlike the original source the team would strike out on their own thanks to better deals and what not.
