Editor's notes: I do not have any hate towards the modern version of Lara, while the trilogy does have flaws, both the modern and classic Lara are both good portrayals of the tomb raider...and believe that if given the chances, both could get along pretty well, with both being equally badass in a way.

Episode 2: Tango of the Tomb Raiders

Somewhere...in the lust jungles of South America, a area remained unexplored due to it's mysterious properties, as some say time and space is irrelevant, bending and twisting around any poor adventurer or crusader, causing them to either die by starvation or a encounter with monsters hiding among the trees, while leaving it's hidden treasures, said to be found in a hidden golden temple powered by energy that's more powerful than any man-made source, unscathed for decades, for it was the source behind the surreal nature of that area, for it was a device that can warp time and even merge dimensions if given the chance, and even it's said to even grow a part valuable to any person if used correctly. Nobody had come even close....that is, except for two explorers, both alike in diginity beauty, had managed to get through the forest and it's dangerous creatures and traps with their smarts and skills, both had arrived at the accursed temple from the left and right sides of the temple, which was a dark golden pyramid, covered by overgrown vines and was as high as the trees around it, both were at awe at their biggest find yet...not knowing that there was another explorer on the other side....one whose face and skills were familiar yet different from any threat she fought....for she was Lara Croft, the tomb raider, and there wasn't any challenge that could take her down.

In the temple, after dashing through a few traps through the halls, as well as jumping across destroyed bridges and platforms...Both managed to reach the main room, which it's golden hue being dull and rusted with age across it's walls and it's cryptic markings, as well as bits of grass and moss from the cracks underneat their boots, yet the liquid energy, powered by blue and red, still flowed towards the one and only treasure, shined upon by the many holes across the room, showing the clear blue skies shining on the treasure stand around the room, both were in shadow, and believed she was the only woman in this room, but as soon they approached the treasure, which was something of a sand timer with a lantern handle, as well as two other handle-like features, with a red, blue and purple color pattern in reverse of the other handle. Both knew it couldn't be a false treasure despite it's looks, and trend carefully to take it as fast as possible, but as soon they took a good grab at it, they saw a stillhoute approaching from the other side doing the same thing...but the stillhoute noticed her too, so as they were almost near the gold and green stand, both pulled out their respective guns, one pulling out a pair of colts, and the other pulling out a desert eagle, ready to face this intruder...but as they got towards each other in the light...it wasn't a rogue militia or a ordinary explorer...it was another woman, one whose face was familiar in a way, like looking into a warped mirror. Both the two explorers began to slowly stepsided away from the treasure as they pointed their firearms at them as they asked the first question in mind.

Both: "What the hell? Who are you...and why are you here in this temple?"
Both explorers then responded in unison. "Why, I'm Lara Croft....and who're you, missy?"

Silence was made by the answers both raiders made...then their faces morphed into shock and furrowed anger.

C!Lara: "Are you daft? I'M Lara Croft!"

M!Lara: "What? No, I'M Lara Croft!"

C!Lara: "Great, just what I needed, another clone even more delusional than the last! Hell, you don't even look like me in the slightest!"

M!Lara: "Oh that's just nice, a skimpy imposter of all things! Hell, you look like a Angelina Jolie Ripoff!"

Both Laras scowled in anger from her imposter's insults, she was the real thing dammit! Not this other tramp, if anything, she looked completly different in almost every aspect of her style.

Lara(Classic) was wearing her iconic clothes,consisting of her sleeveless teal blue shirt, which had a deep "V" collar to peek at her massive cleavage and wore short grey shorts, held up by her belt with her gold buckle, which are attacked to two holsters by the sides of her hips, she also wore a small but spacial bagpack straped against her light tan shoulders, and was wearing her favorite red glasses, and had her classic brown boots as well.

Croft(Modern) was wearing her iconic clothes, consisting of her sleeveless grey shirt, which covered up her impressive cleavage she had over the years and wore long tight greyish-brown pants that were loose around her ankles, and was held up by a similiar belt with a silver buckle, which was attached to one holster at the right side of her hips, and a red climbing ax at the left side of her hips, and instead of a bagpack around her dark tan shoulders, she had a quiver of sorts slung between her breasts from the right shoulder, and had a green necklace, and wore brown boots, similar to Lara's, underneath her pants.

Both what really seperated them and got their attention....was her opponent's hair, because damn, for a explorer, both raiders had enough time to let their tied up hair grow as long as they wanted, despite the dangers they faced, for spending most of the past few days exploring, both didn't have time for a good trim or so, and were more likely to spend around in their private pools or baths and using the finest soaps and shampoos they had to was their slim but shiny locks when not exploring, along with their brushing and combing, had cause their manes to grow as big and thick down to their hips, then ankles, but since the raiders knew the trouble of getting long loose hair snatched up in rogue branches or pulled by enemies or animals, both still kept their hair tied up in their respective ponytails, with Lara keeping it in a tight but thick braid which ended with a tail of loose brunette hair tied by a bigger grey band, and Croft keeping it in the traditional low ponytail, letting it's wild and rough style shown on her dark brown hair, which despite their differences, shined under the sun for how majestic it was for it's size and thickness for such a risky job, and due to the beauty of their own hair....both Laras got a bit...jealous under their breath...as well as under their pants and shorts for how their tits began to stiffen and their "pits" became slightly wet, not helping that their trigger fingers with itching to grab a hold of it, and their teeth gritted before delving into a smug anger smile as they both still aimed their guns at each other, still on the edge at this could be a trick of the temple, a doppleganger of sorts.

Both Lara and Croft took a step forward, as they tried to intimate her foe to backing off.

C!Croft: "Let's cut the silence, either you walk away from this temple and never look back...or you will be facing a bigger humilation worse than a lost treasure...honey."

But M! Croft wasn't having any of it as she clicked her gun.

M!Croft: "First of all, I won't walk away from a finding such as this, this is my find, so why don't you just run away...or perhaps I will teach you a lesson in loss....lady."

Both Laras then smiled angrily as they rubbed their feet on the ground, both sensing that it won't end peacefully for this treasure hunt, for it will take their weapons and fists to make sure to get out of here with the treasure, no matter how much injuries they will take.

"You're on." Both said in unison.

The Tango of the Tomb Raiders...has begun.

Both began to fire their respective firearms at each other as they began to run along the temple room and back away as they fired at each other till both leapt behind a few pieces of the roof, left as debris from years ago, but C!Lara began to fire rapidly onto the cover for Croft, chipping away at the cover as Croft cursed under her breath and said. "Great...this clone's got as much fight in her as I have...still...not that I have a few tricks." She said as she began to fire back with her single firearm, chipping away at Lara's cover, causing the classic tomb raider to hide away, almost getting cut by her counterpart's bullets, causing the Lara to cursed under her breath as she said. "Nice...seems my dirty imposter's just as fiesty and skilled as me...not that my other tricks have something to say."(picture above) Both ladies, with their agility, leapt over the cover and began to raced towards the treasure as they dashed in for up-close and personal combat as both aimed one gun at each other, with Lara raising one gun towards the air and Croft pulling out her red pickaxe as they came toward's each other, but before both could pull the triggers, Lara tried to slam the hilt of her gun onto her counterpart's head, Croft slashed her axe to sent the gun flying across the floor and tried to slash onto her opponent's head, but Lara managed to slam the side of her gun across Croft's head, causing her to be dazed, only to be meant with a drop kick, causing Croft to drop her gun, but as Lara was about to shoot her, Croft managed to rolled away and responded with a high kick, causing Lara to drop her other gun, then Croft delivered a roundhouse kick, causing her Lara to reel away in pain, but when Croft tried to throw a drop punch, Lara rebuted with a high punch to Croft's stomach, causing her to moan as she was sent flying back, droping her pickaxe, so Lara dashed to a flying kick onto Croft, but the Modern Tomb raider stood her ground as she pulled back one leg and deliver a kick to the Classic Tomb raider, causing her to moan louder as she was sent flying back, as she slammed onto the ground, the treassure toppled over...but both Laras saw it and began to dashed towards the trophy as fast as they can...only to grab the treasure in unison...as a large surge of energy coursed through their bodies...as well as their hair, causing them to be in shock and dazed temporaily...but as C! Croft tried to get it, M! Croft managed to kick her back and took the treasure by the handle as she dashed towards the exit. C! Lara managed to recovered to the kick and managed to chase after her Modern counterpart...little did both Laras know....that this treasure was going to change both Tomb raiders in more ways than who was the real tomb raider as they continued the fight through the jungle.
