... Sailor Moon!

FINALLY! I FINALLY finished another CG work! My first full project since moving the computer from the bedroom I share with my sister to our living room [and I lost all concentration as a result]! But I did it!

Ah... The sweet feeling of completion... I've missed it >.< Only bad thing about it is that I forgot that once I finish a full project, it completely zaps all of my energy... D:

Anyway, about the picture: It's actually a redraw of this picture: auralife.deviantart.com/art/Sa… , which was my very first Sailor Moon fanart. It's hard to believe how far I've come from that picture to this one.. Weird. It's also weird to think that it's been 5 years since that picture was drawn. WHERE did the time go?

I decided to try and tackle the Eternal Sailor Moon outfit, only excluding the bow on the back of the outfit [mostly because I forgot all about it until I was done] and changing up the sleeves, belt [is that thing a belt?], and earrings. I also decided to ditch the original idea for the background, which was Sailor Moon in an open field with a moon creating a shadow during the day [symbolizing that darkness is always there, whether or not it's apparent], but I don't know... Seemed too boring, so I changed the background to evening and decided to make a wind carrying Sakura blossoms towards Sailor Moon. It also helps explain the previously non-existant wind blowing the skirt and earrings.

I'm really proud of the fingers, just because I'm normally crap at them and those ones actually look halfway decent! To me, anyway.

And btw, if you're wondering about any fonts, sorry, but I didn't use any! My tablet was actually being friendly enough to let me sign some straight letters [normally they're shaky], so I took full advantage! I also drew the grass [and then duplicated that layer about 15 times].
