I read the fanfic this is based on and loved it! They are so adorable when Sandbar kisses her cheek and Ocellus feels the love he has just for her while they cuddle.

As it should have been. Before Last Problem aired, my headcanon was that Sandy had a fling with Yona, but once it was over he went straight back to Ocellus.

It was never confirmed they were married like other couples were (Lyra and Bon Bon, Pinkie and Cheese, Big Mac and Sugar Belle) so it is up for individual interpretation. Some might think they are still together or maybe they are just co-workers or Sandbar was visiting.
