I drew Hawkfrost and Ivypool from Warriors on Procreate

Hawkfrost is my favorite character, although it’s not really for his canon character but rather how I imagine him in an au I have always imagined instead
The au basically is: Hawkfrost wanted to be loved by one of his parents, and felt abandoned by Sasha, not knowing why she had even left. Hawkfrost began to visit his ded dad in the dark forest (aka cat hell) and, feeling like he had to earn his father’s love, he agreed to train to become a dark forest warrior. Hawkfrost began basically simping for any appreciation from his father, with Tigerstar being his biggest role model ever since Sasha left. He trains to also become stronger for his clan, wanting to be strong and prove himself to RiverClan in hopes that if RiverClan trusted and appreciated him, that his father would appreciate him.
Tigerstar wanted Hawkfrost to begin mentoring Ivypool and manipulating her into wanting to become a dark forest warrior, and vying for Tigerstar to like him, Hawkfrost did it. He met Ivypool in her dreams, where Ivypool dreamt of trying to better herself to be as good as Dovewing, or better.
Hawkfrost realized two things: Ivypool was jealous of Dovewing, and she felt like she needed to prove herself to gain the same attention Dovewing got.
Hawkfrost was jealous of Bramblestar, and he felt like he needed to prove himself to gain the same attention Bramblestar got.
Eventually, Hawkfrost began to relate to Ivypool and when he saw Ivypool eventually overcome her jealousy of Dovewing and instead change her goals from trying to be better than Dovewing to trying to become the best warrior she could be, Hawkfrost realized that he could change too. He realized that Tigerstar, no matter how much he’d try, would always keep the reward of appreciation just out of reach so that he could use Hawkfrost for as long as possible.
Hawkfrost decided to go behind Tigerstar’s back, feeling bad, and confessed to Ivypool of how he had tricked her and how the dark forest warriors were planning to attack the clans. Ivypool went and tried to warn the other dark forest trainees, although Tigerstar found out.
Tigerstar ordered Hawkfrost to kill Ivypool with the threat of if he didn’t, that Tigerstar wouldn’t care about him. Hawkfrost decided to help Ivypool as he believed some advice Ivypool had told him about not constantly trying to vie for Tigerstar’s attention ig
Hawkfrost then works together with Ivypool to help take down Tigerstar and save the clans from the dark forest and the great battle
I saw a warriors MAP about Hawkfrost, Tigerstar and Ivypool recently that has become one my favorite maps quickly due to how close it is to the au character I like to imagine Hawkfrost as

Not only that but in the au I like to imagine, Hollyleaf when she comes back becomes sort of an unofficial mentor for Ivypool and they end up bonding over their shared exclusion from the power of three and I feel like the song Heroes by emmy curie really fits the two with my au

Details about the piece:
I followed a complementary color theme for the piece
I gave Hawkfrost a hawk’s feather pointing out of his neck at an odd angle as it’s the angle that the stake that had impaled him would be, and I hc that dark forest warriors keep their injuries although for meeting Ivypool, that Hawkfrost had decided to hide the stake as a feather as he had been worried about frightening her
I also hc that he has a scar on his snout like Tigerstar that Tigerstar would’ve given him in the dark forest from when he had ‘messed up’ in trying to kill Firestar.

Also Hawkfrost’s au character arc reminds me a lot of Hunter’s from the owl house and Hunter is my fav character from the owl house while Hawkfrost is my fav from warriors lol
