My first attempt at making momiji. Was studying in grayscale for a more a realistic look till I realised just how much I sucked and didn't focus on the subtle tonal variations. It was a punch to the gut but a necessary one. Its strange because I can draw realistic stuff traditionally. Painting and drawing definitely utilize differing techniques even though the concept of values is the same.ΒOh well. Alls well that ends well
